With a chain to a wrist, Zain found herself in a cell up in the towers of the castle. There was a girl tied up in a chair there in the same cell as Zain. Zain wondered how she might be, she knew that that must be the girl she saw with De voe at the temple, some days ago. The girl was facing the other side, so Zain couldn't see her face. She had been asleep ever since Zain got there. After some time, she started waking up.
"Hay... pssst..." whispered Zain.
"Look here" she whispered.
As the girl turned her gaze to see who was calling her, Zain was shocked at who she saw, she couldn't believe that it was Zelta's cousin: Iris, that was about to be killed by De voe. Iris was stunned too, to see Zain there.
"Iris?" muttered Zain in surprise.
"Zain, what are you doing here?" asked Iris.
"I can't believe it was you at the temple," whispered Zain.
"Wait, so you're the one they're looking for?" asked Iris.
"Shhh... They don't know yet," whispered Zain.
