"Here, put it on your cheek." He said with an angry tick in his jaws. He wanted to look for that jerk that hit Lilly and made sure to make him pay. For now, he will just take care of Lilly but the jerk better hide. "We can't go to Matthew's new house to meet with his interior designer with that bruise on your face." His jaws were clenched too hard as he squinted his eyes on Lilly's cheek.
"We can. I'll just put some makeup on it," she said stubbornly. She won't let this bruise on her skin miss the opportunity to take part in the renovation of Matthew's new house where they were going to reside.
"I will kill that guy!"
"Don't! He's not worth it." She rubbed Pete's arm. She didn't have to ask him if he was mad for the way his eyes glinted with murder, she knew that Reagan won't have a chance. "I have a fault on it–"
