Tiffany frowned as she hit the play button again to listen to Andrei's message the nth time. He had been so busy with school that they haven't seen each other since he went to college. He just kept on promising her to meet only to cancel at the last minute for some stuff that he had to do—something of utmost importance. More important than her.
The lines on her forehead got deeper the more that she kept on playing the voice message that Andrei left. He was so darn busy that he couldn't even call her or chat with her. He just left a voice message.
She wanted to get angry at him but she remembered that the last time they fought, he made her promise to be supportive of his endeavors. And since their last fight was her fault, she ended up spouting some nonsense promises just so Andrei would forgive her.
