Just as Rafael was complimenting her, they were both startled by the knock on Rafael's door. That was so not expected.
Adriana became confused about what to do now. She cannot afford to be caught by whoever was there. It would be a disaster if she ever was to be caught. She immediately jumped down from the bed looking for the nearest place to hide.
"Where are you going?"
Rafael asked, speaking to her through the mind, seeing how confused Adriana was as she searched for a place to hide.
"I need to hide as soon as possible." She replied only to get startled the next second at what she had said.
She couldn't believe she had just spoken to Rafael through the mind link, even though he wasn't from their pack.
"Stop worrying your head for nothing Addy, we are one now and I can hear your deepest thoughts. I believe you know oww?"
Not that she doesn't know, but she never expected things to get so fast.
