Walking back to my room I decided that would head out tomorrow morning. I knew where I wanted to go first, it was to the Uchiha clan and see if I could find anything about my past, it was always something I had been interested in.
Jigen did ask me to set out and gather I tell on the tailed beast but that didn't mean I couldn't go where I want or take my time.
Waking up in the morning, I had my usual shower and got dressed. I put on my casual top, trousers, belt, and boots. Since I was going out I didn't want to attract too much attention so I got a new change of clothes.
I had some black gloves, over the top of my casual outfit I wore a black, short sleeve top. I put this on because it had a bit of padding around my arms and body. Not that I needed it, because my body was already insanely strong.
Then to finish it off I wore a black cloak that reached down to my upper calf. It was dark red on the inside and had dark red stitching framing around the outside of the cloak. It was a high neck cloak that reached my mouth, I wore this because I didn't want people to recognize me.
After I put on my clothes, I belted my katana underneath my cloak around my waist.
I didn't have much money as Jigen never actually gave me any, this would be annoying as I would have to find a way to get some money.
I was currently in one of Jigen's hidden bases, located on the Eastern coast of the Land of Lightning. We both haven't been out into the world for the past four years so we weren't up to date with the events that were going on.
This was because I was constantly training and honing my skills, while Jigen was either training me or recovering in his dimensions. There was also no need to shop for food and clothes because Jigen always had enough somehow.
I walked out of the cave and looked at the map, it showed that I needed to head in the southwest direction, but first I wanted to stop at the capital of the Land of Lightning, also known as Kumogakure.
I haven't traveled before so I was looking forward to it, I also needed to find a way to make money so this was why I was stopping at Kumogakure.
It would at least take me a week to reach Kumogakure, so I started to run at a moderate pace, towards the main road leading to the village.
*In the Land of Earth*
Konan threw down an injured body of what seemed to be a rogue shinobi from the Land of Lightning.
"That should be thirty thousand Ryo" she sounding uninterested.
"Oh, so a big shot again miss Konan" said the bounty collector.
Konan only nodded and grabbed the briefcase before turning to a wall with half a dozen posters on it.
"There's been a decrease in bounties, is that because of the war," she asked.
"Yes miss Konan, very clever, as you know the third shinobi war, started almost a year ago, and nations don't have the time and money to place bounties on criminals, but when the war is over there will be plenty to choose from," he said this with a smile on his face.
"I see," she said while picking out a relatively nearby bounty and heading for the door.
"Pleasure doing business with you, safe travels," he said while watching her depart.
As she walked out she felt the fresh breeze touch her face. Konan had now grown up and matured a lot, she changed her hairstyle and had her straight blue hair in a ponytail with her bangs parted slightly to the right.
She still had her amber eyes, but she now had lavender eyeshadow. She had a well-developed body, which she hid with her long dark purple robe.
She didn't have any luck with finding Izuna over in Konoha, and thanks to another war breaking out she had to leave the village and carry on with her search elsewhere, and that's how she ended up in the Land of Earth.
The third shinobi war had started almost a year ago, it started Because of a decline in national power, the reign of the five great shinobi countries was crumbling.
This led to smaller skirmishes and fights with smaller nations around their borders. The small nation Kusagakure tried to infiltrate and lay siege to the border of the Land of Fire but ended up being attacked. This then lead the Land of Earth (Iwagakure) to get involved and start a fight with Konohagakure.
This was a brutal war where many shinobi lost their lives, young children were sent out to also fight on the front lines and recently there had been an increase of fights breaking out on the orders between (Konohagakure) and the land of Wind (Sunagakure).
To make things worse the land of Lighting (Kumogakure) had been testing the waters to see what benefits they could reap. If things got worse then it could fall into another huge war between the four big nations.
"Uuhhh" Konan sighed, she had seen the effects of war and the pain and devastation it brought after. She didn't want to get involved, even if she did, she alone wouldn't be able to make a difference.
So she had traveled to the Land of Earth in search of Izuna. She had visited Konohagakure and also Sunagakure. They were both nations involved in the second shinobi war.
Even though she had spent four years searching for any information about him, she hadn't found out anything. She wasn't able to get any information about him from the Uchiha clan which was her strongest guess as to where he might have been.
She was starting to think of the worst, but she tried not to let this get her down. She hadn't really thought about her own plans in life, more like she didn't want to. This was because she felt like she owed her life to him, which was true, he did pretty much save her. If he didn't come into her life she most likely would have died in Amegakure or well she believes she would have.
Over the past few years, apart from trying to look for Izuna, she had been busy with bounty hunting. She mainly took on shinobi with a twenty thousand Ryo bounty on their head.
These would be people that were murderers or had done serious crimes before running away. This was the perfect job for her as it allowed her to travel and gather information on both her target and Izuna.
Little did she know, that the person she was so desperately searching for, was living with the most dangerous person on the planet at the moment. If she knew this I'm sure she would have a small panic attack. Currently, Izuna was out and ready to start his journey.
*In the land of Lightning*
A man that reached a height of just over six feet was walking along the main road to Kumogakura. It was currently a wet day and the man was getting soaked, well at least it looked like he was, but secretly he was creating an invisible chakra barrier around himself.
A little while later, a cart being pulled by two horses pulled up in the muck beside him.
"Hey young man, this ain't the kinda place where you should be traveling alone unless your a shinobi," said the man sitting under the cover of the cart "hey hop on ill give you a ride".
"Thank you," the young man said while climbing into the cart, "I was heading to Kumogakure, I hope that's not a problem".
