Selena went on about how she's joining a sports club in hopes to be more athletic. She gushed about how she wanted to achieve everything on their bucket list, and he she needed him to be just as excited for Senior year as she was. They walked the hallways at present. Rule was distracted by the memory of Lucas and Amber. They had made their relationship public that morning and Rule just couldn't understand any of it.
He was furious within himself but tried not to show it after the pep talk Selena had given him. They were sort of even. The people they wanted didn't want them back, so to Selena it was a win-win. The only problem was that he couldn't forget Lucas or get him out of his head and his heart ached.
"Are you even listening to what I'm saying?" She huffed a sigh in annoyance, rolling her eyes.
"Why don't you join a club, Selena?" Rule suggested, trying to appease her and show he was paying attention.
