When Caidine moved her head slowly in denial, Chloe didn't need any more proofs. But the question was, where the fuck was this Drake boy? Could he really be idling around?
"The papers, did you do anything about it yet?"
Caidine was quick to change the topic. Chloe knew that Caidine had no idea what has happened to her master. She was caught up between feeling pity for the maid or shutting the thoughts off.
"At first I didn't want to, but now there's no point. I learnt that the ownership might be transferred if it's not claimed as soon as possible."
Caidine nodded to Chloe's speculations. Chloe turned and walked away,
"I'll stop by the strip club."
She hurried to her car which was parked outside Drake's gate. She got in and drove off.
