Drake walked to get the door and stepped out of the office. Obviously he knew that Hailie was going to push further but he didn't have that time. At least, not at that moment.
He walked out of the building looking around like someone who lost his car key. It's been quite a while since he'd been looking for Chloe and up to that moment, he had no idea where she was.
"If she left not long ago, then she should be around."
He was trying to stay positive. Suddenly, he saw someone he'd once seen with Chloe and rushed to him.
"Hey bro, Chloe, have you seen her?"
"Chloe? Who's that?"
At first, Drake thought that the fellow was pulling a prank on him. But the fellow's confused face said it all. Drake suddenly realized,
"I'm not sure what her name is here. The intern girl with whom you were paired three weeks ago."
"Amanie you mean?"
