Chapter 44 – Toeing
Darren smiled with satisfaction, and the words he spoke could help Jase be motivated to be more independent. Darren's concern is Jase, a Saintess candidate who looks very weak at what he is doing now.
For example, when they jumped over a very steep ravine, Darren should have said beforehand if they were going to jump into the gorge. However, after considering it, Darren was worried if Jase would delay his journey just because of arguing about whether to jump over the canyon.
Luckily they jumped over the deep chasm and landed smoothly. Jase made his bed, and Darren walked forward. Jase is still asleep with Mana to protect himself.
Look around. Darren re-strengthened and thickened the magic barrier by taking something in the bag he carried. Darren took the bottle. It made the bottle from extracts of Mana powder he made while in the tower.
