"A Phoenix? You realize that a phoenix has one major factor, right?" Jzyndae's father asked me folding his arms.
"If they use every bit of their power of fire at once, they die temporarily only to be reborn. Death is but a temporary issue. That is something that through enough study, I want to find a way to mimic." I informed him seriously.
"As a guardian, this will be a double edged sword for you." The blacksmith informed him, ignoring the outlandish concept of what I just proposed.
"What do you mean?" I asked, actually interested.
"This guardian will mentally be connected to you in every way. If it dies, you will feel that death every time. Should you let the Phoenix consume your mind, you will be dragged into its death as well. Whether you revive or not is a mystery, and it may not be worth the risk."
"I don't plan on it consuming my mind." I said sincerely.
"Very well. I will show you how to do this, but my forge must be revived first." He said.
