"Forth Floor - 2" °•○●
After an ordeal of eleven hours, Eren noticed a final increase in the number of creatures. The numbers were no longer increasing. That showed they had reached the last part of the floor, right?.
But in each creature area, there were at least thirteen creatures!
Even Eren had guessed that there would be nine or ten before, and he had miscalculated. Now, both Eren and Elena had to attack together in these regions, where four different types of creatures were evenly distributed.
They cleared an opening. Then another, and then another. After a while, even the occasional breaks were not enough for them to rest.
Both were starting to get tired. Mentally.
And Elena was injured for the first time. It was because of a small dog biting her leg. Elena didn't realize that she was no longer as fast as she used to be. And let the dog bite.
This was the first but wouldn't be the last.
Still, the rest of their journey was uneventful. They killed all the creatures and used drugs on Elena's leg. Such minor injuries did not seem so serious after what Eren had experienced on the third floor. At least there was no death threat.
Half an hour later, this time Eren was injured. A spider he hadn't noticed had bitten his arm for a long time while he was fighting those blades. Even the color of his skin changed, he closed the wound and used an antidote. But he wasn't feeling as good as before. The number of creatures on this floor was even greater than the sum of all the lower floors.
They killed hundreds of creatures. They rested constantly and proceeded with safe steps. They were careful about water and food. But the floor never came to an end.
There was something much worse on this floor than Eren had anticipated.
..
For a moment, as Eren stared at the ceiling, he remembered what Maevis had said. "If you enter the 4th floor in your current state, you will die for sure. %100."
Eren didn't think the same was true now that he had Elena by his side. And that Maevis warned him of the powers of the creatures on the floor....but these ape-like things weren't that strong. Even dogs were more dangerous and challenging.
"Then what is it that makes this floor at 100% death level scary?"
For the first time since the beginning of the floor, Eren was frightened and pulled Elena to his side. He hugged Elena tightly where they were sitting, trying to feel good with the girl's hot body.
[I'm not alone here. We'll survive!]
But seeing Elena's panting and the tiredness in her eyes, he wasn't quite sure about what he just said.
"Elena, close your eyes and try to sleep. I'll wake you up in a minute."
"Okay daddy."
Eren sat down, drinking water from time to time, and looked down the wide corridor. His head was full of confused thoughts. He felt some remorse about entering this place unprepared. He also had a big question on his mind.
"What makes this place dangerous?"
...
Days passed. Yes, days!
It's been 3.5 days since Eren and Elena entered this floor. And they were currently fighting groups of creatures that numbered fifteen.
Their food was almost finished.
Their bodies were wounded.
His eyes were tired and weary. In fact, Elena had been hurt too much by her energy problems and Eren couldn't leave her alone. He was always careful to stay close to the little girl. Elena, on the other hand, had dropped her heavy club and was fighting with her long dagger like Eren.
But no matter how careful they were, they now had more scars than before. It was more difficult to step, jump and run. They lacked the attention needed to make sharp movements.
They were slower and more cautious.
When the fifteen creatures were finally dead, Eren gasped, walking to look at the other corridors. And his eyes sparkled with what he saw.
Big room!
"This must be the boss room. Then it's time for all my remaining grenades and pistols to show themselves."
Eren gave Elena time to sleep. He opened his handbag, which was full of magazines that he could carry in limited quantities. He took out two pistols from his backpack and loaded them. This time he would be more careful going in with these weapons. It was very important to keep the distance long and not rush.

He would get Elena's help when he needed to change magazines.
At least, that's what would happen in a proper battle scene, like in his imagination. But he sighed, not knowing what to expect until he got inside.
He approached Elena and placed her head on her legs. He let the sleeping vampire hug him involuntarily and leaned his head against the wall. It wasn't comfortable but he didn't need comfort. He needed to get out and be in a safe space. With Elena and Maev. He missed that bar room in this three and a half days.
Eren tried not to sleep while thinking about different things. Both of them could not sleep. So as an adult, he had to be sleep deprived himself.
The 4th floor, in which they had been standing for 57 hours, was indeed so frightening that he would die if he entered it alone. Considering the scars on his entire body and his current exhaustion, he agreed with Maev's words.
"If it wasn't for Elena, I'd be dead already."
He bent down and kissed Elena's cheek. Then his heart raced as he remembered the little girl's pranks.
With a excited guilt in his hearth, yound boy approached and placed a quick kiss on Elena's lips.
[If I die from the boss room, at least I won't have any regrets. I have no other intentions! I really didn't do it for any other purpose. Elena would have wanted that too.....]
Eren turned his head, feeling guilty for what he had done.
For a long time, his heartbeats did not slow down.
