Chapter 3 - What is Happning Here

In the Kustav noble family, which was Lord Silver's cousin Zara—his second grandfather Zorn's only daughter's family—anxiety filled the air as they received unsettling news from the Vesprech mansion. Rolf and Zara acted swiftly, preparing their carriage to make the three-hour journey to reach the Vesprech family.

Zara couldn't contain her worry and asked Rolf, "Rolf, Is everything okay with my family?" Her voice trembled with fear as they hurriedly made their way to the carriage. Rolf, sensing her concern, replied with concern, "I'm not sure, my dear. The situation seems complicated and uncertain."

Their seventeen-year-old daughter Ember pleaded earnestly to accompany them, sensing the gravity of the situation. However, her mother and father were adamant that it would be too dangerous for her to come along. With a heavy heart, they reluctantly left their daughter behind, understanding the need for speed in reaching the Vesprech family.

The fading afternoon sun cast long shadows, reminding them of the dwindling time, Following closely behind their carriage were twenty elite guards, their burly figures providing a sense of security.

They embarked on their journey, the carriage rattling along the road, With each passing minute, the weight of worry grew heavier. Zara's mind was consumed with thoughts of her family's safety. She quickly wanted to go there but couldn't because of the distance.

They traveled with a sense of urgency, eager to reach the Vesprech family as quickly as possible. The road seemed never-ending, but their determination pushed them forward. Each passing mile brought them closer to their destination, yet uncertainty loomed over them.

In the carriage, Zara couldn't help but wonder what awaited them at the Vesprech mansion. She hoped and prayed that her brother's family would be unharmed, their well-being intact.

--------In the Vesprech household--------

After the intense surge of mana subsided, two old men left the room saying that "Don't worry, daughter-in-law. We will protect our grandson with our lives. He has granted us a newfound power so it is our responsibility to take care of him."

The newborn child remained in his mother's arms, breathing in the lingering remnants of the purple mana. The family continued their conversation about their son's extraordinary nature, but Lady Vesprech insisted that they leave so she could breastfeed her son.

Lord Silver got close to his wife and planted a kiss on her forehead saying "Take some rest we will leave now," then he looked at his newborn son "You too little man,"

he dragged his two daughters but they shouted "We want to stay father, leave us alone". but lord silver still dragged them outside the room, seeing them lady Vesprech laughed wryly.

After they exited the room, venturing outside to assess the situation and ensure the safety of the house. The golden barrier encircling the mansion showed signs of disintegration. As everyone dispersed, Lady Vesprech, wearing a gentle smile, unbuttoned her blouse and cradled her son against her chest, and buried his mouth with a big mellon.

She marveled at the remarkable bond between a mother and her child, still in awe of the experience they had just shared.

"Grow up quickly, then mom will give you a lot of love, and find you a beautiful princess" Lady Vesprech whispered gently, her voice filled with love and anticipation, as her son eagerly nursed. The warmth of their connection enveloped them, reminding her of the wonder her child had already shown her in his short existence.

But what they didn't know was that the little man is already awake and hearing their talk and trying to understand his situation.

Three hours later, a carriage rattled its way to a halt outside the gate of the Vesprech house. Rolf and Zara, filled with worry and curiosity, had finally arrived, hoping to unravel the mysteries that had surrounded the Vesprech family. The golden barrier that once encased the mansion had disappeared an hour ago, leaving them with even more questions.

As the carriage halted near the mansion's entrance, Rolf and Zara hastily got out, their eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger. To their surprise, the atmosphere within the Vesprech household seemed to brim with joy and happiness.

The guards stationed outside the door chatted animatedly, their expressions reflecting a sense of celebration.

With each step, they took towards the mansion, Uncle and Aunt's anticipation grew, yet confusion gnawed at their minds. They were prepared to offer support to their beloved family in the face of danger, but what they encountered seemed to contradict their expectations.

Rolf and Zara exchanged puzzled glances at each other, their brows furrowing with bewilderment. They couldn't help but wonder what had transpired in their absence, why the Vesprech family appeared so jubilant while they had expected to find a situation requiring their assistance.

The joyous atmosphere and the guard's relaxed demeanor further deepened their confusion. They longed to find answers to the questions that swirled within their minds, but the scene before them only added to the enigma.

Seeking answers, Uncle approached the entrance where the guards were stationed, his voice filled with curiosity. "Hey you two, what happened here," he said, "we arrived with concerns for the Vesprech family's safety. But what we were expecting was a more urgent circumstance. Can you shed some light on the situation?"

The guards were taken aback by the unexpected arrival of the man and woman, their surprise evident in their expressions. Bowing respectfully, they greeted the newcomers, "We welcome Lord Kustav and Lady Zara. There's no need to worry, for it is a day of great celebration for the Vesprech family. The young master has been born safely, and Lord Vesprech eagerly awaits your presence inside. Please, come in."

Rolf and Zara exchanged astonished glances, their eyes widening in surprise. Gradually, their confusion began to transform into understanding. They realized that their sister-in-law had been carrying a child in her womb for a year, explaining the secrecy and sudden events. Relief and excitement replaced their initial worry, but the question of why such extraordinary occurrences had taken place still lingered in their minds.

With a newfound sense of clarity, Uncle and Aunt made their way towards the joyous gathering, their eagerness to share in the Vesprech family's happiness growing with each step.

Entering the hall, they were greeted by divine energy that lingered in the air. The family members who had already gathered inside the room exchanged joyful glances, their faces mirroring the happiness that filled their hearts.

Rulf approached Lord Silver, his voice filled with concern. "Brother-in-law congratulation, but what has happened here? We received urgent reports that a lot of unnatural things happening in your house and we rushed here as quickly as we could."

Lord Silver, his expression a mix of satisfaction and delight, he replied merrily, "Brother-in-law, sister, I'm glad you're here. We experienced a lot in these five hours" o thus he began to explain the legendary tale of his son and the newcomers heard in amazement, with their mouth wide.

After hearing it Zara's become concern as she asked, "Is everyone safe? What about the baby?"

Lord Silver's face softened, his eyes brimming with a mix of gratitude and joy. "Yes, everyone is safe for now. But our son... he is unlike any child we have known. you know he has a divine body and divine blessing both we are still wondering about is it a blessing of our ancestors".

After some time chatting with the newcomers Silver told to his sister "sister can you check on Adeline, see if she is ok" lord Silver said as Zara nodded, thus she excuses them and headed toward Adeline's room, after Zara left Lord Silver looked at his brother in law "let's go Rulf you will be drinking with me the whole night" as the chatted merrily and headed towards the dinning room.
