Because of an event that occurred at Natasha's 10th birthday banquet at Harrison's mansion, the Duke pays a visit to the noble house of Larmaleilles. Because of his son, Nathaniel, the Duke wishes to personally apologize for raising a disturbance that has made the Larmaleilles house a popular subject among the nobility.
The Marquess's spotless image was tarnished by the incident. Because of what Nathaniel said that night, the Duke felt horrible and it eventually harmed the marquess' business.
