Marigold's unusual yet beautiful smile caught Liu's attention as she recounted how Raymart had saved her once.
"I could tell you're Mrs. Chanda's chosen one, which is why she's so eager to help you," Liu commented with a tired smile.
"Liu, I don't take seriously what she said about looking for a woman to marry her grandchild," Marigold acknowledged.
"Mama Chanda wants Raymart to marry because he's turning 30. In the Javiera family, every man has to marry before the age of thirty as a part of their family tradition to maintain their wealth. At first, I didn't believe in that kind of tradition but I respected them so I just have to accept that even though it's strange, it was likely to happen in reality," Liu responded.
"But why does she have to hunt for someone for her grandchild? Didn't she trust Raymart's charm? And is he single in the first place?" Marigold enquired, her brow furrowed.
