Chapter 4 - Chapter IV

Soleil P.O.V

A few hours passed by since the gods left Soleil alone. He began to think of the situation je was going to find himself in when he is sent back. As he started making plans, the gods trooped back in with all things on hand. They started making a new magic circle. "Child, we forgot to tell you about your powers." He smacked his head berating himself for forgetting such an important question. "The Ouranios family is famous for having healing and teleportation capabilities along with the usual elemental aspects but you are the exception. You have the power of healing, water, wind, sun and moon elemental magics along with Time." He couldn't believe it. 'I am insanely powerful ?!!!! That is a lot of magics that I have.' he thought. Nero was drawing the circle using a brush dipped in some kind of ink which looked very glossy. Asma was cataloguing the various items needed to perform the ritual while Porta was explaining to him about his powers with Chronos supervising the other two.

Porta continued with his explanation. "Your powers have matured despite them being sealed and you will definitely find it hard to control them on your first try but we will not let you suffer so easily. I will ensure that my precious Childe will help you control your powers as soon as you are transmigrated back into your original body." Soleil trusted Porta's words because he knew that he genuinely meant it. 'Alright. That is one step down. Is there anything else I am forgetting ? Oh right ! My appearance !'. He turned back to ask about glamours and illusions when Chronos turned towards him and started walking.

He stood where he was and let Chronos approach him. Chronos stopped in and took out a long chain. It was a gorgeous silver chain with a sun and moon intertwined pendant. He put it around Soleil's neck. "This is an amulet to protect you. It will not only conceal your true appearance but create a glamour that you can change at will. It also has a series of protection spells that will help in figuring out if you are safe or not." SoleiI was touched. He had never been gifted anything that was significant to him.

He recalled how the Randalls had treated him with such disdain and anger. He shook head to get rid of the memories.

"Thank you. I will wear it gladly." Soleil thanked Chrónos. He smiled and went back to supervising Ásma and Neró. Time flew by at the gods finished setting up for the ritual.

"Child, it is time." Pórta said. Soleil took a deep breath. He was scared but he knew that this was the start of finding happiness in his life.

He made his way to the circle. Neró looked at Soleil reassuringly. Soleil stepped on to the circle. The gods circled around him in all the direction. Nerô to the North, Ásma to the East, Pórta to the West and Chrónos to the South.

"We shall began the ritual. We, the gods of Ruana, Chrónos, Ásma, Neró and Pórta hereby grant the opportunity for Crown Prince Soleil Ouranios to be transmigrated back in time of his death. We hope that he shall be able to move forward and gain happiness, prosperity and love. So mote it be." all 4 chanted.

The circle glowed and shone brightly. The light glowed around Soleil. He took one last look around. He opened his mental connection to the gods. "Thank you for looking out for me. I will avenge my other half and put those bastards in their place. So, please watch over me and guide me." The gods heard his message let out small answering smiles. The light brightened and swallowed Soleil. The light dispersed leaving no trace of Soleil. The gods looked at each other with resoluteness and determination in their eyes. "The time will come when our Sun will need help from us. Until then we wait and prepare." commanded Chronos. With that knowledge in their hands, they separated ways to start making plans for the future.

Meanwhile in Ampelos Forest, rain fell heavily. The forest was densely populated and stretched over 4 miles long between the territories of the Fotia Duchy and the Vasilias Duchy, the only two Dukes of the Skia Kingdom.

At the edge of the forest stood two tall men. They had a regal aura around them. They were surveying the forest when "Alepou, let's go back. It is cold and wet. I don't want us to fall sick." screamed the younger of the two. That was Elafi Vasilias. He is well known as the 'Gentle Lord' in the Capital. He is 6'2 with long platinum blond hair, green eyes and skin as fair as snow. The person whom he was screaming at is Alepou Fotia. He is known as the 'Passionate Duke' among the ladies in the Capital. He is 6'3 with shoulder length chocolate brown hair, grey eyes and an olive toned skin.

"If you want to go, go. Don't worry about me. I can manage without you." Alepou said. Elafi looked at the man dumbfounded. They have been friends since they were kids and now at 19, he still couldn't understand the stubbornness that Alepou had. Elafi shook his head in fustration. "Ugh...fine. I will stay. Only because you are here. That's it." he grumbled. Alepou smiled at how easily Elafi gave in. This was the relationship between the two.

Crunch!

The loud sound carried over the rain. Both of them heard the sound and got ready to attack when a man with long brown hair and olive skin stumbled out of the forest. Elafi and Alepou noticed that the man was severely injured. They dropped their stances and ran to help him. As they came near him, the man collapsed but Elafi was faster and caught him.

"Are you okay ? Can you walk ?" Alepou asked shrugging off his coat and wrapping the man in it. They noticed how emaciated and pale the man looked as well as the numerous scars on his body. "No...weak..." the man muttered. Elafi carried him with Alepou trailing behind. "May we know your name, sir ? We can assure you that we will not harm. We just want to help." Elafi reassured him. Alepou also nodded. They hoped that the young man would believe their sincerity. The man seemed to look at them. A flash of something crossed his eyes. "It is good to see you again Heir Apparent Alepou Fotia and Second Young Lord Elafi Vasilias. I am Soleil Keyes or rather was Countess Keyes until the asshole decided to abandon me here to ensure that I die."

The words horrified both Elafi and Alepou. They couldn't believe that Count Keyes hurt this young man all. They remembered him as one of the most well-spoken and well mannered men in high society.

Alepou and Elafi shared a look. They briefly communicated with their eyes and came to a decision.

"Young Lord Soleil, don't worry. We will give you shelter for now. Rest and we shall talk." Alepou said. Those words calmed Soleil and he relaxed.

Elafi and Alepou smiled at the innate trust the man was showing. They hastened to the Vasilias Residence to ensure that Soleil got the treatment he needed.

They would help him get back on his feet and share his burdens. They vowed to do so.
