After such a revelation, Lykos was unsure what to do. Countess Keyes is the missing Crown Prince of the Ilios Empire. A member of the Ouranios Royal Family and a respected member of high society. Lykos sat deep in thought. Lucian noticed this and had an idea of what Lykos was thinking. He tapped Lykos's hand and garnered his attention. "I know you are worried about the political implication but don't think about it. I have no plans of informing anyone about finding His Royal Highness anytime soon. Something tells me, he has plans of his own on how to get back. However, we will need a mage to reteach him the use of his magical powers. It was sealed for so long, he must be unprepared to use it." Lucian said.
Lykos felt relieved at Lucian's words. He nodded. "I will find a mage who is very discreet and let him help Prince Soleil. However, there is one problem." Lucian looked at him with his eyebrow raised. "Elafi seems to be enamoured with Soleil and I am not sure if it is okay for them to be together now....." Lykos trailed off. Lucian looked thoughtful. "I think that it is not a bad thing but if Elafi is sincere about his feelings, then I see no issue. However, it is His Highness who has to decide if Elafi truly wants him. I will not interfere unless absolutely necessary." Lucian said. Lykos nodded as it sounded reasonable.
They decided to head back with the others when they heard a loud sound. It came from Soleil's room. Both of them sped out of the study and went to the room see Elafi holding Soleil in his arms, bridal style with Alepou and Chrysos shielding them in front of them. On the other side was a young man with dark blue hair, eyes of ice and wearing an exquisite embroidered cloak. "What happened ?" Lykos asked using his official voice. Lucian walked to Elafi and Soleil concerned.
Chrysos, not taking his eyes off the intruder, spoke. "This mage came out of nowhere and ambushed us. He seemed intent on kidnapping Soleil." Said intruder looked irritated. "I am not here to kidnap that fake illusion man ! I am here to help him control his powers." Alepou retorted "Oh really ! Why would you barge in and not use the door like normal person ?!" The mage glared at him. Elafi was radiating an angry aura. Soleil was bemused. He did admit that the mage's presence startled him certainly but something about his words tingled a memory.
Ah ! He wanted to smack himself. Porta said he would send his precious childe to help him perfect his control over his magics. He looked at Elafi. He knew that Elafi cared for him very much. He took a deep breath, raised his hand and cupped his cheek. Elafi went stock-still and looked at Soleil. "Put me down." Soleil asked. Elafi shook his head. "Please." Soleil asked again. Elafi looked at him and then put him down. Soleil gingerly walked up to the mage. The tension in the room went up a notch. Soleil stood in front of the mage. The mage looked up at him and knelt down surprising everyone in the room except for Soleil.
"What am I to you ?" Soleil asked. The question puzzled everyone. Lucian was curious about the man's identity and Soleil's words. the mage in question smiled and responded. "My master and Leader." The answer satisfied him but Soleil decided to confirm it once again. "Who does your patron serve ?" Pin drop silence occured. Everyone was stupified at the question but the mage remained unfazed. The expression in his eyes grew brighter and his smile became wider. He replied " We serve the True Child till the day you perish." As soon as he finished speaking, a string of silver light appeared and bound the hands of Soleil and the mage.
The string glowed a deep purple and vanished. The room was still in shock. Soleil extended his hand out to the mage. The mage took his hand and briefly kissed his hand and swore " I, Gai Lis, the 2nd mage of the Skia Mage Tower, hereby serve Crown Prince Soleil Ouranios and his descendants till the day he dies. So mote it be." The room glowed a vivid purple in acknowledgement.
Soleil nodded. He turned to see shocked expressions on the boys faces but thoughtful ones on the Duke and Lucian. he suddenly swayed and fell when Elafi caught him. Elafi carried him over to the sofa and sat. Soleil tried to get off but Elafi did not budge his arms. "Elafi..." "No. You will stay right here and tell us everything." Elafi said resolutely. Soleil sighed and sat still. Lucian shook his head at the possessiveness in Elafi's voice and sat down with Lykos and the boys. Gai conjured up a chair and sat.
Soleil took a deep breath and spoke. "My name is Soleil Ouranios. I am the Crown Prince of the Ilios Empire despite being a third born. I was separated from my birth family by forces who thought that I was not suitable for the throne. They kidnapped me and sealed my powers. They threw me to the Skia Kingdom where I was taken in by the Marquis Asteri who treated me like family until I was forcibly wedded off by my adopted brother, Heir Apparent Leon Asteri to Count Gerald Keyes who abused and tortured me. There was not a single day that went by that I wished for death. Gerald Keyes found himself another man to marry. He divorced me and then threw me into the Ampelos Forest to die. Marquis Asteri is unaware of the truth. Leon ensured that no one will ever find out the truth. I died shortly." That horrified everyone. Lykos and Chrysos went pale, Gai froze with shock, Alepou and Lucian had tears streaming down their face. Elafi wrapped his arms tighter around Soleil, telling himself that he is alive. Soleil gently patted Elafi's arm. He continued "I was transported to the God's realm where it was told that my powers were to powerful for me to maintain as a child that they split my soul in half. My split soul merged and thus I was revived. I want to go home and get revenge on those bastards who took me away from my family and destroy Leon Asteri and Gerald Keyes." Soleil said vehemently and with tears rolling.
Elafi gathered him close and hugged him. Soleil broke down and cried with Elafi soothing him and caressing him. The cries broke Lucian who started sobbing along with Alepou making Lykos and Chrysos comfort them while Gai had a look of murder in his eyes but the most scariest one was none other than Elafi who looked like he was ready to destroy everyone but he let it take a backseat and comforted Soleil. Soleil let out all the emotions he had bottled up out and sobbed. His sobbs started becoming sniffles and then it was quiet.
Everyone looked to see that Soleil had fallen asleep. Elafi gently carried him to the bed and tucked him in. They all left quietly and headed to the study. Chrysos guided Alepou and Lucian to the couch while Lykos rang for the servant. Gai sat on a chair and Elafi stood by the window. Lykos came and sat next to Lucian. The servant quickly brought the tea and left. Gai poured out the tea and served everyone. It was quiet when "Elder brother, are you going to let Soleil gain revenge ?" Elafi asked. Lykos looked at him and nodded. "He deserves it. They need to suffer for what he did." Elafi decided to help Soleil. "Elafi, I need to ask." Lucian spoke up. Elafi was confused. Lucian took a deep breath. "What are your intentions towards Soleil ? If you wish to be married to him, I will allow but you will not live an easy life. He will become a ruler. Can you deal with that ?" Elafi pondered over.
Elafi knew that the man was beautiful and has a sharp mind that was buried under all the hurt. He was already in when he first saw him. "Yes. I can handle it. I will court him and let him get used to me slowly. I cherish him and will not let him suffer." Elafi vowed.
That staement made Lucien and Gai nod their agreement. They all decided to help Soleil get back his rightful identity and ensure that they would not make him hurt anymore.
