Astrea remained motionless in her seat as her father left the dining room while ignoring her brother's words.
Meanwhile her mother, Mirella got up from her seat and approached her.
Her mother patted her shoulder and said, "Everything we do is for your future and well-being Rea. Please trust your parents in this matter"
Finishing her words, Mirella left the dining room leaving her daughter and son alone.
Conrad looked at his sister with a sad gaze, "Rea....." he started talking but was interrupted as Astrea got up from her seat with a bitter smile on her lips, "I appreciate your support brother, but I think it is better for us to not discuss this anymore. I don't want you to get on bad terms with mom and dad because of me"
Conrad sighed, "I'm your brother Rea, it is my duty to take care of you. I will never think about any matters that are yours as a burden"
Astrea smiled at him but it didn't reach her eyes, "Thank you for everything"
