This move was a bit risky but they all believed that the rewards they may get will be higher so they all gritted their teeth and decided to go through it.
This scavenging went on for four days and Alita and her gang managed to get something good. There were exotic fruits, some animals they used for food and picked some antiques as well as stones.
On the sixth day, Alita and her gang had split up and went different ways. Alita had been walking for a while now and decided to take a rest beneath a tree. After standing there, she took out some water and drank some.
When she was done, she began to take a look around as she was curious about the place she was at. As she was busy checking the place, her eyes stopped at something that just made her wonder what it may be.
She quickly made her way to this rock and began to touch it as it looked a bit abnormal to her. After checking this rock for over ten minutes, Alita was about to give up when the rock made a clicking sound and a huge tree opened up like a magic door.
This scene was quite shocking to Alita as she had never seen something like this before so she didn't make haste but went there in a cautious manner as she didn't want to fall into any trap.
The tree was very huge and at the trunk, that is where this mysterious door opened. Alita was a bit scared to enter as she didn't know what was inside there but when she thought of how many energy points she was missing, she decided to go ahead.
She didn't believe that this mysterious app will not be able to help her in times of need. After getting courageous, she walked in head-on and the mysterious door closed up.
She used a torch to see the way forward and she came across the stairs which she took to go down to whenever they were taking her. Alita took the stairs for twenty minutes before she appeared in a narrow passage. On the walls, some drawings looked really weird and Alita didn't understand any of them.
She took out the phone and opened the recording option she found while looking into the phone's operations apart from that D.T.A she was more interested in.
The recording function was just so good and she captured everything. She stopped the recording when she came across a shiny object. To be honest Alta couldn't believe her luck.
So far, she had not come across any traps and it just didn't feel real that she could find something worthy and useful without suffering. Seeing a shiny object, Alita's mind was screaming money and energy points, so she took a leap of faith and walked in that direction. And Alita had no idea that this courage of hers had turned her into a different person completely.
She bent down to pick the shiny object on the floor and was quite amazed as she looked at the red gem which was a rub according to the records she had seen. Also, she had sold quite some rubies so she knew them well.
The stone wasn't that huge, but Alita believed that it was worth something. Hoping to find more gems like this one, she began to enthusiastically search every room she came across and there was no luck.
It was only after two hours of intense search she came across another room that left her in a dumbfounded state. Inside the room, it was as if she was in some treasure trove.
There were too many gems lying around and the place was so colorful Alita lost all reason and dove into the mountain of gems and played in it for minutes until she was satisfied.
She even took a video of herself for proof and a few photos with her phone as she wasn't afraid of anyone hacking her and getting to know about this wonderful secret.
The gems were too many and if she were to pick them one by one or bucket by bucket, she was not going to finish in time. If she didn't finish then people will start looking for her and that will not be nice.
Remembering one of the uses of this beautiful phone of hers, she clicked the storage icon immediately and pointed at the mountain of gems and instructed, 'collect' in her head and the mountain disappeared.
Looking at her storage space that was now full thanks to the gems she was in a great mood. In order not to raise any suspicion she decided to return as soon as possible to join the rest of the gang.
It was very easy when she left and as she looked back to see where that tree and rock were, she was shocked to see them no longer there. She shook her head and quickly left the area.
She had been coming across so many strange things lately, luckily her heart was strong otherwise she would have had a heart attack by now.
Alita managed to store a few antiques she found on her way back in her storage bag and joined her crew. As they had been away for many days, it was time for them to return back to the others.
So, they decided to travel when it is during the day and, in the end, they went to sleep. Alita couldn't sleep so she exchanged half of the gems for energy points and what she received made her so happy.
Alita exchanged half of the remaining gems again and this time, the energy points hit 12,000 energy points which were 2,000 extras than what she needed. This was actually good as she could use the extra points to buy some necessary things needed for the journeys.
While the prices she saw that day were only for opening the portals and allowing her to go and return from the places that she goes. Alita still needed more points to purchase some necessities that could aid her in her stay there.
The next day, the gang of three began to make their way back to the original camp and since they had ventured a bit far, they weren't able to reach the camp on the first day.
The whole journey back took them three whole days and when they met the rest of the crew, it was a happy reunion that led them to celebrate and have some drinks.
Luckily for them, none of the crew members of Alita was hurt, this wasn't the same for others as they met some unfortunate events. Luckily none of them died which was a relief.
It wouldn't be nice if some mother, wife, or children loses a son, husband, or father. As long as they all return home then it was okay.
