In the dusk, a jet-black haired teenage boy in his school uniform walking on his path to his respective destination, just like everyone else around.
Since, he lives in a country side the place was not as lively as the Capital city.

The boy snapped when he saw a bunch of guys that seems to be waiting for him.
They were wearing the same uniform as the boy, but compared to the boy's, theirs are loosen. There are at least five guys in the group.
"Oh! Kazumiya, Kazumiya. You been making us wait forever here. Why so slow?" The smug guy that seems to be having grudge to the boy, said. He probably took to his for being treated like a crap, when he was by the boy on his neck in the classroom.
Such pride and ego got hit, causing their heart to stirred up in a feeling of embarrassment and a small insults.
This guy here, lets names him Shigaru Hagarashi, a student in the same school. With his smug looks on his face, he was known as one of the most popular guy in the school. Not because of his looks, but because of his charisma.
Despite the fear he felt from the jet-black haired boy back at the scene in the classroom, his pride wouldn't let him accept to let it that way.
Why? Because he's a fighter.
Haise just stared at them with a straight face behind his eyeglasses and bangs.
On of the guy from the group approached Haise and placed his arm on Haise's shoulder.
"Just come with with us Okay?" The said in a low voice.
Haise, who does not desire to waste his time in this kind of puppy quarrel, just sighed. "Okay then." He nodded.
The just smiled along the boys.
Haise was taken to some abandoned building. There he saw bunch of guys that seems to be a member of the pack of Shigaru.
Shigaru, who was sitting on a office chair, have a big smugly smile on his face.
"Why so quiet, Kazumiya? Cat got your tongue?
Haise just stared at him, not caring the guy's guts anymore.
Shigaru stood-up and approached him.
"Hey, hey! Why so quiet?" The guy asked with look on his face.
Haise was still quiet and just keeps staring at him.
Shigaru began to felt irritated, and when he was about to hold Haise's shoulder...
*SLAP
Haise swayed Shigaru's hand away.
Shigaru, who was already felt irritated, displayed a bitter smile. He nodded to his buddies, telling them a sign to hold Haise's arms... And so they did.
"You're quite rude, aren't you? Insulating me like that in front of our classmates."
Haise already knew it was all about that, after all the guy in front of him is prideful bastard.
"You really got some nerve, you dork."
Shigaru step forward his left foot a little; lunching a punch on Haise's face.
Haise took it as advantage, then kicked Shigaru's balls with all his might.
"Ugh!!!"
Shigaru snapped in pain and stable on floor.
"!!!"
The four who witness that, empathized Shigaru's pain.
"B-beat that bastard." Shigaru, who was still in pain, angrily said.
The two, who was holding Haise, was about to thrash him down. The other two, who was sitting near to the office chair, ran towards them to also thrash Haise.
Haise easily break out from their clutch then whacked their stomach with his elbow, causing them stumbled in pain.
The two attempted to thrash Haise, but all their punches were evaded.
For some reason, Haise noticed their movements were too slow.
Haise, who had already fight a real monster, perceived this as nothing compared to where his life was on the line. To finish this nonsense fight...
"Ugh!"
He gave them a punch they deserve, causing them to lost their consciousness.
"Ahhh!"
Haise turned around and saw Shigaru running towards him with a pipe in his hand.
STRIKE! STRIKE!
*WOOOP-WOOOP
Shigaru hardly strike Haise, but all of his attacks were evaded.
"Oh yeah, I heard you were lusting at the student council president."
"!?" Shigaru snapped hearing what Haise said.
When Haise saw Shigaru's reaction, he once again kicked his balls.
"Ugh!"
When Shigaru stumbled on the floor (in pain), Haise smothered him and thrash his face until it drenches in blood.
Haise glared at him this time.
Though Shigaru was weary, he once again felt the fear from before. He felt like he was on the palm of Haise, watching his pathetic state.
Shigaru's body was trembling in fear, he even pissed on his pants.
Haise grab then pulled Shigaru's hair and said: "I know you were the culprit, and that's for her! I hope your balls finally learned some lessons." He was not talking about the girl (who was extremely close to him) from the case of "Missing Panties."
Haise wipe off the blood on hand with Shigaru's uniform, then left.

The night is up...
Haise felt a little dizzy again, and a drops of blood came out from his nose.
'What's happening to me?' He internally asked.

Haise's eyes began to glow and she'd blood, unaware of the symptoms of why he was feeling that way. He felt heavy and weary.
He still didn't reach his home yet, and his consciousness threatening to fade.
Haise wearily lean to the walls or concretes he could hold onto.
Pushing himself to walk, he saw two silhouettes of a man and a woman with glowing red eyes.

He really wanted to shout and complain for the unfortunate things that befall upon him.
Haise became apprehensive and instinctively cast a barrier around him.
This time, it's not one, but two monster before him. Why am I being so unfortunate... he really wanted to asked out loud.
Witnessing what Haise just did, for some reason the two silhouettes snapped.
The two finally revealed themselves.
A dark green haired woman (wearing a light blue long sleeves, dark blue steampunk retro swallowtail vest gothic waistcoat that shows her curvy spoon body, and dark blue steampunk mottled jeans) and a blonde haired man who has a gentle looks (wearing a white medieval steampunk gothic victorian clothes with golden linings).
Fearing for his life, Haise enhanced his body with the magical power of nilucis (a technique he learned from the mysterious being when she bumped her head onto his as a parting gift) and ran as fast as he could.
The two was left dumfounded to what they saw. 'Who is that boy?' They really wanted to know... then both of them began to chase Haise at such speed.
Seeing the two finally chase him, Haise began to wondered any method he could use... then he remembered the bird. 'That's it!'
The two are getting closer and closer, suddenly...
A ghost-like pegasus appeared, ridden by Haise!
"You gotta be getting me!" The dark green haired woman said in disbelief.
Even the blonde haired man was astonished and couldn't help but say: "Glamorous..."
The pegasus flew up to the sky.
The two exchange glance and a pair of bat-like wing emerge from their back then flew at such speed.
Haise stared back and saw the two are still chasing him. 'Damn it!'
"Do you think it's summoning magic?" The dark haired woman suspectedly asked.
"No, that's no doubt his magical ability." The blonde haired man answered.
'I see' She seems to finally understand a little.
"Veronica..."
"I know."
Veronica, the dark green haired woman, emits green aura, her hair floats as if defying the law of gravity, and her red eyes glow brighter.
Wind began to gather around her and light green thread-like are formed.
"Rendell!"
"Yeah..."
Rendell, the blonde haired man, emits bluish aura, and his red eyes glow brighter.
Haise, who felt their aura, flew faster. 'Dammit!'
Seeing their aura, Haise become more apprehensive.
Rendell flew in front of Veronica then created ice he could step onto.
Veronica lunches wind blast on the eyes, causing to Rendell to accelerate further.
Haise, without hesitation, leaped off the pegasus when he saw that Rendell was about to reach from at least three meters away.
"???"
Haise created a barrier he could step onto and saw Veronica flew towards him at such speed.
Haise once again leaped, and the barrier he had created automatically dispelled.
The pegasus approached towards him at such speed, but Rendell trapped it inside the eyes.
~Use your wings~
Haise heard a ghost-like voice of a lad in his head... "Philomina?"
While falling down, Haise desperately asked: "Philomina is that you? What do you mean wings?"
~Concentrate in your dreamworld [magic] and use your nilucis.~
The voice slowly faded in his head.
Haise close his eyes and began to concentrate in his dreamworld magic.
"Veronica, the boy!"
"Yeah! I know!"

In the dreamworld.
Haise slowly opened his eyes in a place where there's only the reflection of the starry sky around.
His nilucis appeared, but unlike before it has an utterly different form and shaped.
Countless of rune-like characters and edges works together, forming a big crest.
Haise touched the crest, and the crest scattered and revolves around him.
Rune-like characters gathered before that said: >Greetings, Master<
Then the rune-like characters faded.
Haise remembered: |~Concentrate in your dreamworld [magic] and use your nilucis.~|

An I idea struck in Haise's mind.

Bluish white mana began to spread throughout his body... Slowly it spread it began to manifest outside of his body.

Haise noticed that the mana was a chaotic inside of his body, causing him to feel pain throughout his body.
Haise use the technique (he received from Philomina, the mysterious being, when she leaned her head onto his).
Since the nilucis is the source of his magical power, all he have to do is fix his the flow of his mana.
It took him a while to do this, due to the pain he felt.
