Meanwhile, Nelo, Victoria, and Haise walked in the hallway way that was lighted by some magical lamp that attached to the wall.
Haise wandered his gaze around (with his eyes that were still glowing) and saw some old pictures.
As they get closer to the door they were about to intrude, once again he saw the unusually bright red silhouette with golden glow within its body through the close door.
'It's here...' Haise thought.
"It looks like we made wait." Nelo chuckled as Victoria sighed.
"Huh?" Haise stared at them confused and somehow assume that: 'Are they talking about that?' He was talking about the silhouette.
*CREAK
Victoria opened the door and politely welcome Haise specially Nelo (since she's his secretary).
When they got entered, Haise's glowing eyes immersed in astonishment. "Woah!"
There were countless books around in a ridiculously huge bookshelf.
Haise turned and gazed around, utterly forgotten his wariness.
Until...
"Your eyes!"
Haise's glowing eyes fixed to a glamorous young lady, that can be said have a beauty of an elf, was emitting golden glow in his vision, standing before before them; staring at Haise with a blushing expression and widened eyes.
The lady looks like she was the same age as Haise. She has a pair of glamorous bright red eyes, long jet-black hair that reaches her hips, and wears a jumper gothic lolita-like dress that covers her medium dark deep tan skin and slender yet voluptuous body.
Indeed this vampire look like a young princess elf. By the way, she doesn't have pointy ears.
"It looks like the flower had finally meet her sun." Nelo said in a teasing tone.
The young lady snapped and glared at Nelo.
"Hehe... Apologize, apologize." Nelo said, giving an awkward smile as he felt the pressure giving by the young lady.
Victoria just giggled.
Haise, as usual, felt out of place. Well, he was just a human after all.
"By the way, this Alorazel vi Vladamirovich, the one and only heiress of the Vladamirovich clan." Nelo pointed his hand to the young lady, who was blushing.
Seeing her reaction, Haise understood that kind of reaction; the problem was he doesn't get if why she was reacting like that. 'What the fuck is going on?' He really can't understand.
...
The four of them sat on the couch.
Nelo was sitting alone, while Victoria, who served him a cup of a tea, stood beside him.
Haise and Alorazel (the young lady) were sitting together in one couch.
Sitting beside Haise (who was immersed in confusion), Alorazel's face were blushing.
Seeing them like that, especially to Alorazel's reaction, Nelo exchanged glanced with Victoria.
"The flower was indeed began to bloom." Victoria said in her neutral tone.
Nelo just giggled.
"Now that you met the boy, what are you going to do now?" Nelo asked.
Alorazel cutely gasped hearing Nelo's question.
'What should I say?! What should I say?!'
Alorazel bows her head and gripped her skirt in embarrassment. Sitting beside Haise, she really didn't know what to say.
"..."
It was the first time for Nelo and Victoria seeing Alorazel acting like that.
'Cute!' Both of them couldn't help, but adored that side of Alorazel.
A broad smile began to show on Nelo's face.
"Sooo... you like this boy that much, huh?" Nelo said with smug look on his face.
*GASP
Alorazel cutely gasped again. Her face became even brighter red.
Hearing what Nelo said, everyone snapped.
Haise had really becoming more confused; he really couldn't understand anymore if what Nelo meant by that. He just let himself displayed a perplex look on his face. '... the fuck?'
Victoria on the other hand was a little confused, though as a woman she understood that kind of reaction given by Alorazel, since she went in that too.
'Why would the heiress of Vladamirovich fell for this boy?' Victoria inwardly asked and dared not to ask aloud.
"Now, I will asked you again. What will gonna do with this mage?" Nelo asked in a serious tone, though he displayed a gentle expression.
"Mage?" Alorazel was confused. She glanced at Haise. "What do you mean by that?" She asked in her serious tone.
"..."
Both Nelo and Victoria snapped in confusion.
"What? Don't tell me you didn't know about this boy being a mage."
"You've been watching him from afar and yet—"
Nelo stopped talking when he felt a terrifying pressure coming out from Alorazel's body.
"!!!"
Victoria snapped at the same moment Nelo stopped talking.
Before they knew it, Haise leaped off the couch and instinctively cast a barrier around him.
"..." Nelo let a deep sigh and pointed his at Haise, who was glaring at them with his glowing bluish-white eyes. "That's what I'm talking about."
Both Victoria and Alorazel were dumfounded, seeing Haise's magical ability to cast barrier.
"What's this?" [Alorazel]
"It appears that even you didn't know, huh." [Nelo] "Not even his biography and the Intel you gave me tells he's actually a mage."
Alorazel knew Haise's situation, hence she gave an order to get him no matter what. However... she didn't know about this. They all thought that Haise is mage.
"What are your next plan to him?" Nelo asked.
Alorazel glanced at Nelo, then her gaze was fixed to Haise.
Haise couldn't understand if why such a glamorous lady stared at him with such concern. Though he was wary, he closed his eyes and let a deep sigh, remembering his past. The laughs and smiles and he had already thought as just an illusion and all the unfortunate things.
Given the fact that he was in the territory of the vampires.
Haise stared at the glamorous lady who was staring at him with such concern.
'Is that real or just another illusion?' He was asking about Alorazel's worried look.
Slowly, the barrier around Haise dispelled.
Nelo snapped and for some reason he felt looking forward to Haise's next action.
Seeing Haise's barrier slowly faded, Alorazel felt euphoric and thought Haise was letting go of his wariness. At least that's what she thought.
Haise stared at Alorazel with his lifeless glowing eyes and soon, a spinning thorns made of his magical barrier appeared.
Nelo's and Victoria's expression became serious, indeed it was the first time they saw such magical ability, but they didn't like Haise's behavior.
Alorazel became apprehensive. "Haise please calm down." She really was worried, for she didn't wanted to fight Haise.
Victoria stepped forward and shielded Alorazel with her arm. Her eyes were already glowing and glaring at Haise.
Haise just stared at them with his lifeless glowing eyes.
'His eyes.' Nelo noticed Haise's lifeless glowing eyes and felt nostalgic.
"Haise please! It's not what your thinking" Alorazel, who trying to step forward, had a desperate and worried look on her face.
Soon she became more apprehensive seeing all the thorns began to point at Haise itself.
Nelo and Victoria snapped.
'What the hell is he planning to do. Is he planning to take his own life!' Victoria inwardly asked.
"Haise please! No, please don't!"
Seeing Alorazel's being more apprehensive than he was, he couldn't help but asked: 'What such a beautiful girl is showing such concern about someone like me.'
'Aha! She's probably going to recruit me.' Haise thought. 'Let's just see.'
Haise extended his hand and trapped them inside of his barrier. He stared at them with a wary smile and soon, blood tears flows down on his face, coming from his lifeless glowing eyes.
"No..." Alorazel, who was becoming more and more apprehensive, began to make to covered herself in golden mana. Her eyes were glowing bright red and her hand begun to be covered with golden light.
All the thorns thrust its way against Haise.
"No!!!" A wavering voice of Alorazel resonates around.
Seeing all the thorns thrust towards Haise, Alorazel pushed Victoria, who was getting on his way. With all her might she shattered Haise's barrier and ran towards Haise as fast as she could.
With an unbelievable speed, Alorazel grabbed and embraced Haise away from the thorns' targeting place.
Haise with Alorazel atop slipped towards the bookshelf. Though they don't crash against the book shelf, the books still fell on the floor.
Victoria, this time, stared worriedly at them and felt nostalgic.
'He's in despair.' Victoria thought thought.
SOB! SOB!
Alorazel was still embracing Haise, tightly, sobbed deeply.
"Why is someone like you concerned yourself deeply to someone like me?"
Hearing Haise's question, Alorazel lift herself up and stared at Haise.
"?!!"
She widened her eyes seeing Haise's blood tears relentlessly coming out from his glowing bluish-white eyes.
"It's really not an illusion, is it?" Haise asked with a straight face, though he was weeping blood.
'He's really in despair.' Alorazel became more worried.
"I'll asked you again. Why someone like you concerned yourself deeply to someone like me?" Haise, with his lifeless glowing bluish-white eyes, stared straight at Alorazel's eyes. He also remembered what Nelo mentioned: "You've been watching him from afar and yet—"
"Why? Just fucking why?"
Alorazel, who was still sitting upon his him, didn't know what to say and just keep staring at Haise.
Seeing Alorazel's worried look, Haise turned his face away as if he had already given up on something.
"Go on, you can do what you want to me." Haise said with closed eyes. "Bite me, and know my pain." He was just assuming at the last part of what he said.
Alorazel was froze and didn't know what to do hearing what Haise just said, but she totally get the last part of what Haise. She's a vampire after all.
Seeing two on that state Nelo nodded at Victoria and decided to left room, but
before they left, the stared at the damage of Haise's barrier thorn. Or should we call this bari thorn from now on?
'What a terrifying kid.' He said that while staring at the bari thorns that were still there, piercing into the floor all together. 'He was really planning to kill himself.'
Feeling nostalgic, Nelo left the two alone with Victoria.
"..."
Victoria just stared at Nelo and followed him. She didn't dare to question him.
