Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

My hand kept fingering Bagas' whereabouts beside me. My body was cold without his arms while sleeping. But that man was no longer by my side.

I gently rubbed my two eyes that were still foggy. I glanced at the time on the clock that had shown two o'clock in the morning.

"Where's Bagas?" mysaid silently.

I went down the stoning looking for Bagas in the bathroom. But the bathroom was empty. There's no one.

I ran down the stairs, who knows Bagas is hungry and eating in the kitchen. Because upstairs there is only Bagas room and one room located at the end of the room.

The sighing sound from the room located in the corner of the lower floor was clearly heard entering my ears. Made my footsteps stop.

Moan after moaning intertwined. Even that disgusting sigh made my legs suddenly limp.

Isn't that Yasmine's room?'

I stuck my ear on the door leaf of Yasmin's room. Is Bagas who is with YAsmin in the room. It hurts me to imagine it if it's true.

The sigh sounded more and more heated? I touched my chest that felt like it was being stabbed. Sick. The voice in the room was Bagas. Unmistakable. I'd better just smash the door of Yasmin's room so I know who's making out with her tonight. If it was Bagas I wouldn't have stayed silent.

"Reza!"

"Mother!" I immediately confirmed my position. My body trembled at the mother who was staring at me from the door of her room.

'Ah, my plan failed.'

"What are you doing in front of Yasmin's room?" this voice came into my sense of hearing.

"Um, I am!"

"If you are here don't make a fuss!" said the mother in an annoyed tone. After that, the woman went back into her room.

I took a deep breath then exhaled it gently.

The sigh from Yasmin's room disappeared instantly. The room was quiet again.

I walked towards my room upstairs feeling erratic. Instantly my eyes rounded to see Bagas who was already on the bed.

"Bagas!"

I saw that the man had fallen asleep, his breathing sounded irregular. But why are his temples filled with sweat?

'Or lest the one who was with Yasmin just now It really is my husband?'

I shook my head. I don't want to accuse Bagas. I am still confused with yesterday's events that made Bagas have to be shut down for one week because of my actions.

Again I scattered my body beside Bagas with his back to him. My eyes grew brighter, I kept thinking about who the man in Yasmin's room was. Because I'm sure the sighing sound belongs to Bagas.

I'm done taking a shower, the lovemaking promise Bagas gave me again is just a lie. I don't know when the man left this silver-walled room. All I know since I opened the man's eyes was no longer by my side.

I heard a crowded voice from downstairs. There seemed to be Bagas and also my mother-in-law playing with Aska, a one-year-old toddler, Yasmin's son, that's how my husband Bagas said.

I went down the stairs. My eyes noticed Aska who was on Bagas' lap. The toddler looks very familiar with my husband.

"Come on Aska, walk on Grandma!" my mother-in-law ordered Aska.

'Grandma!'

What does all this mean. I brushed aside the pain in my heart. I kept thinking positively about my mother-in-law. Isn't that grandma's call a natural thing for someone older.

I saw Aska get up from Bagas' lap and then walk towards my mother-in-law. This time Aska walked without falling. It can be seen that my mother-in-law is very happy to see that Aska can walk well.

"Yas, look at this your son can walk," the mother tweriak to Yasmin who appeared from the direction of the kitchen.

"Really, Mom?" said the woman with the purpel veil enthusiastically. "Take a look, baby!" commanded Yasmine greeted with Aska's big smile to show her two newly grown front teeth.

"Pa, pa, pa," babbled the toddler who was walking towards Bagas. With a big smile Bagas opened both hands to catch Aska's body walking towards him.

'Papa!'

This is exactly the same as my dream last night. Is Bagas his father Aska?

My body feels frozen. Collapse all the love bagas in my heart if true Aska is his son.

"Reza!" called Bagas who saw my presence watching him from the steps.

"Yas, look at this your son can walk," the mother shouted to Yasmin who emerged from the direction of the kitchen.

"Really, Mom?" said the woman with the purpel veil enthusiastically. "Take a look, baby!" commanded Yasmine to reply with Aska's big smile to show his two newly grown front teeth.

My body feels frozen. Collapse all the love bagas in my heart if true Aska is his son.

"Reza!" called Bagas who saw my presence watching him from the steps.

Bagas got up from his seat, while Aska wept over Bagas' departure.

"For a while, baby!" said Bagas, holding Aska and then giving it to Yasmin.

The woman's face looked flat. Never once did such a petite woman say hello to me. It was as if he had always shied away from me during my time in this house.

My mother-in-law stared sarcastically at me who was standing on the steps. Such a look of hatred he deliberately aimed at me in front of Yasmin and everyone who was in the room.

"Are you hungry?" asked Bagas, he led me upstairs to the room.

"Don't I put a breakfast menu for you?" Bagas sat me on the lip of the bed.

"Do I want to bribe?" said Bagas holding a plate on the bedside table.

"No need, baby!" I held Bagas' wrist. The man then put the plate containing the food back in the original place.

"What else happened?" Bagas sat next to me. His face looked anxiously looking at me.

"Where did you go last night?" he asked curiously.

"You mean?" retorted Bagas raising both eyebrows.

"Yes, where did you come from last night? I'm looking for you downstairs, but you're not there," I said. There's no way I'm telling Bagas what happened last night.

"I was on the balcony of the room last night!"

"Balcony?" mysaid with a surprised face.

Damn, I should have looked at the balcony last night.

For a moment I didn't flinch. My debate was in vain, I didn't have any evidence.

"Never mind, Reza, stop your excessive suspicion." Bagas pulled my body into his arms.

I kept thinking, it seems that my husband is right. Last night he was on the balcony. After all, if Bagas is in Yasmin's room. How could he get to the top floor quickly. Ah, all this is so exhausting to my mind.

"Baby!"

"Hem!"

"Last night when I came down from the top floor looking for you, I heard a sigh from Yasmin's room," I said.

Bagas immediately released his embrace from my body. His face looked surprised. "Take care of your talk, Reza!" said Bagas.

"Seriously, baby!"

"Never mind, stop your bad thoughts. Yasmin doesn't have a husband, so there's no way it's going to happen."

I chose silence. This time I didn't have the evidence to show it to Bagas.

"Never mind, you better eat first, let me feed you," Bagas said.
