Chapter 12 - Chapter 12

"Honey, I have prepared your breakfast over there!"

Bagas' voice came in my ears. I slowly opened my eyes that felt sticky. Bagas was already sitting on the edge of the bed putting on his shoes.

"Where are you going, baby, so early in the morning?" I asked in a lazy tone.

"Aska had a fever from last night. I have to take him to the hospital immediately," Bagas replied in a hurried tone.

"Aska!" I got up sitting on the bed with a surprised face.

"But why should you be the one who..." my words came to a halt when my mother's screams from downstairs called my husband's name.

"We'll talk later, okay! I have to leave immediately." Bagas hurried away leaving the room.

"Ah!"

I snorted harshly at the sight of Bagas leaving the room. I slammed my body roughly on the mattress. Annoyance filled my chest. How could the baby be more meaningful than me.

I rushed down from the bed towards the porch outside the room. I can clearly see the panic of Bagas and also the mother who walked towards the car parked in the yard. While the woman in the brown veil occasionally appeared to wipe away her tears.

I saw them getting in the car so quickly. Meanwhile, Aska was still faithful in the arms of the mother who entered through the back door of the wheel and Yasmin sat right beside the steering chair that Bagas was riding. It hurts my heart to see it.

Dimas, why is Yasmin's personal driver actually busy opening the fence door for Bagas's car. It should be he who delivered Yasmin not my husband.

"I haven't memorized the road here, madam, after all, Mrs. Yasmin said the road leading to the hospital has to go through a big road so I have to use a driver's license and I don't have a driver's license yet," Dimas said casually.

'Damn it, how does Yasmin like this kind of child. maybe it's because they're the same age, so it's equally stupid.'

I fell silent again. Staring resentfully at Dimas' sinless face. It feels like I want to be angry with that guy.

All day I waited for Bagas' return in the room with mixed feelings, between being upset and not accepting. Many times I tried to dial Bagas' number, but it was useless. Because the man left his mobile phone in the bedside nightstand drawer. Probably because it was because of this morning that he hurriedly forgot the most important thing.

The night has come. Orange clouds already adorn the western sky.

I frowned backing my annoyance. I went downstairs to meet Dimas after seeing Bagas' car.

"Dimas!" I called rudely to the man with the thin mustache who was closing the main door of the house.

"Yes, Madam!"

"Why wasn't you the one who drove Yasmin to the hospital. Why should it be my husband?" I said in an annoyed tone.

I don't know when I fell asleep waiting for Bagas who didn't come home. The roar of the car entering the garage made me wake up and ran towards the balcony of the room upstairs that faced directly to the porch of the house.

I walked fingering. The lights that haven't been turned on make it difficult for me to walk.

I noticed the car lights that were still on in the yard of the house. All the lights of the house have been on as well as the lights in the yard, probably Dimas who has turned them on.

I could see clearly who was coming out or what they were doing downstairs.

I saw Bagas get off the wheel door then open the door for the mother who was behind him. Mom still faithfully carried Aska in her arms into the house.

Bagas opened the car door. Instantly Yasmin's body fell in my Husband's arms. It can be seen that his shoulders tremble in bagas' arms and the man keeps rubbing Gently on Yasmin's shoulders.

Pain! My heart seemed to be sharpened by thousands of swords to be shapeless. My eyes are heating up, I can't bear this pain.

I'm still watching Yasmin and Bagas from upstairs. I saw occasionally Bagas glancing up, where I was standing in the dark. Surely he was confirming my whereabouts in this room. But unfortunately I saw this betrayal.

Bagas wiped Yasmin's tears then led the petite woman into the house.

I wiped my own tears and rushed into the room. I slammed my body roughly curled up on the mattress. I cried, the tears I was finally falling. My aching chest, my breath seemed to be stuck in the esophagus. It's so tight.

'What does Bagas have to do with Yasmin? If Yasmin is just a helper here why is Bagas so attentive to her.'

The sound of Bagas' footsteps is getting closer and closer to the room. I pulled out the blanket until it covered my whole body until it left my face facing the wall.

Cekriet …

Clack!

The sound of the door opening and the light switch being turned on. I closed my eyes immediately, hoping that the man would not find any trace of my tears.

I deliberately kept all my suspicions first. Even if I say to Bagas now, I'm sure that guy won't admit it and will actually give me many other reasons.

I heard gurgling water from inside the bathroom. It seemed that Bagas was cleaning himself up. Moments later I felt Bagas' presence lying beside me by wrapping his arms around my waist, hugging me from behind.

"Baby!" He called me in a spoiled tone.

My heart hurts more and more. How could he treat two women warmly at once.

"are you asleep?" whispered Bagas in my ear.

"Hem, yes, I'm tired and very sleepy as hell," I replied holding back a cry.

For a while Bagas did not answer. Over time only a subtle snoring was heard from his increasingly warm breathing. It seemed that Bagas had fallen asleep deeply. I, meanwhile, still continue to imagine the incident last afternoon that left me in pain.

----

The house looked deserted, Bagas was going fishing with his friends since the morning. While Yasmin was away with Dimas, probably selling clothes around in her car and mom was taking a nap in her room with Aska.

Today is my last day here. This is my chance to find the secret evidence that Bagas hid from me.

I started combing the room I was in. I'm looking for something that can corroborate my argument. But in this room I didn't find anything.

I went down the steps leading to Yasmin's room, after I guess it was safe no one saw me. I quickly slipped into the room located in that corner downstairs.

My body is like freezing. My heart seemed to stop beating.

"What am I seeing this, Oh my god?"
