Chapter 41 - Chapter 41: {The Last Day of Junior Year pt. 1}

Dae Zhae Kuaun class has been interesting WHEN SHE'S THERE. I've learned a decent amount. Nothing really crazy I learned. I REALLY want to learn that reverse spider clinch, we still haven't gone to advanced clinches yet.

It's been a few months, it's June third. I've had like 2 main missions on each of those months that were hard as hell, but nothing really significant. The hardest one was when I had to face my fear of heights. Eesh.

Nothing really significant has happened so far. Jugyeong and I are in love like always and just chilling. It's the last day of Junior year, so that's good. One more year of being bored out of my mind left and I'm free. Jugyeong and I were able to get the same schedule too so that's cool.

Also...

Jugyeong passed math.

.

.

.

WITH A 60% GRADE.

I was surprised she passed to be honest.

Ive slimmed down too, 230 pounds.

{Your life stopped being interesting fatty}

"Yeah."

{Time to make it interesting ;). You've been working out, you have a girlfriend, you've helped out your friends with love besides Dowoon, lot's of stuff. This should be interesting to say the least.}

I already know what DPHM wants me to do...

{That's right}

Please no.

{Main Mission 17: TIE IN A FIGHT OR WIN ONE AGAINST JUN! Reward: +20 ATC, +20 CSY, +20 CHM +1000 skill points. Punishment for failure: Jun's gonna beat you up anyway. Enjoy some other suffering on top. Time Limit: 4 pm}

"SKILL POINTS AREN'T WORTH CRAP!"

{Why do you think I gave you 1000, you literally have two useful skills, just max them all out.}

"Also what's the rest of this 'suffering'?"

{Can't tell you ;)}

"Why not?"

{It's funni}

"Oh come on grow up!"

{Can't, I'm 5 months old ;). Just for being mean to a baby you're getting more stuff to do}

{Main Mission 18: Get Kiara and Dowoon on a date. Reward: +30 INT +30 CSE. Punishment: double the previous punishment or same if previous is completed. Time Limit: 4 PM}

"What the hell is wrong with you."

{Like a true system, I'm making you do stuff you're gonna hate. I've been WAY too nice. Most systems require you to do stuff like jump out of an airplane, or some things that are very much illegal.}

That is true from all the really trashy chinese novels I read, they force you to do some crazy stuff, the craziest thing DPHM has asked me to do is hit Jun.

Oh look, Jugyeong's made it.

She comes inside my apartment for breakfast like every single day, even on Sunday, and Wednesday. My parents at this point don't even care if she comes over or not. She's already been accepted as part of the family at this point.

"Hey babe, what's for breakfast?" she asks.

"Chicken inbedded in the waffle."

She looked like her mind was blown.

"You're eating breakfast today for once right?"

"Can't, you know why."

"I wish you could eat all these yummy things you make for me and my- I mean your parents."

"They already see you as their kid at this point, mostly because you are literally always here, minimum for at least 5 minutes a day."

"Duly noted."

"Ready for the last day of school?"

"For now, we still have senior year."

"Yeah..."

"Hey, how does teasing Dowoon about Kiara sound today?"

"That would be great. They hang out every week and they still aren't dating. He likes her, unless he's already asked her out and she wanted to stay friends. Also, that would just be funny messing with Dowoon."

"It would be funny."

Ever since Jugyeong and I started dating, she's become my best friend. He was my best friend for the longest time, but as of recent, he hasn't. I think it's because he's jealous that me, Jugyeong, and Suho found love. Like hell, Suho and Sangah are still dating, I gave them a month, but they seem to be doing good still.

Dowoon was the one searching for love longer than us. It's probably because his gramps isn't doing too hot, he seems to be close to dying.

Jugyeong and I make it to school.

The first thing I see is Doja and Jun waiting for Jugyeong and I at the front of the school.

They go for Jugyeong...

I attack Jun, with a clear elbow to the jaw.

"Doja had a bone to pick with your girlfriend, so I was just gonna hold her so she can beat her up. But a brawl with you now that you can fight to an extent seems a lot funner hehehe. Happy last day of school beatdown bastard!"

{You didn't pay attention, but I heard them muttering about it yesterday, hence why I gave you the mission.}

Jun gets me really hard with a punch to the face and then he put me in a Jiu-Jitsu clinch.

.

.

.

It was an arm bar.

Now if I haven't seen how Coach Yoo-ji told us how to escape an arm bar, I'd be absolutely screwed and dead. All in one.

.

.

.

"Dae Zhae Kuaun is the only fighting style that has a truly reliable way to escape an arm bar. The reverse pretzel." she said like a week ago.

.

.

.

So despite not being keen at this specific move. I know how to do it.

I dragon flag my legs, then turn over onto him.

This requires a ton of core strength or thigh strength, I have a ton of thigh strength, so I was able to do this.

Then I choke him with my legs.

Then with my other arm, since I'm now on top of him, I can pull it out and finish the move, in which I grab his legs and do a butterfly.

.

.

.

Now professional athletes would be impressed, but the average person watching me do this would think I just look stupid. It's also not super effective of a technique, but a good escape option out of arm bars and other grabs.

I get up so I don't look weird.

Kids start circling us.

I'm not worried at all about Jugyeong because without Jun there to help her, Doja can't one v. one Jugyeong unless she had a gun.

Jugyeong can one v. one most guys too, it's just that Jun is too heavy for her to even think about it. She was able to RING out Alita, not beat her.

Also Jun is just extremely jacked, like I barely have a chance against him just because of our size.

We continue fighting, I want to finish him with a pile driver, but that can break his skull, a powerbomb would suffice.

I can't do that now.

The kids are all recording the slugfest before school. The teachers don't care because this is the ROK, why the hell would they? Some teachers are even watching our fight.

Kids are betting on us too.

Jun comes in with a drop kick, in which I jump back and catch his left leg.

.

.

.

Coach Yoo-ji's words last month come into my mind, "A mobile fighter can't afford leg damage, of you catch a leg, dead leg them and then elbow drop them on the stomach or back, it looks stupid, but in Dae Zhae Kuaun, it works.

.

.

.

So I do just that, the dead leg is successful, but Jun's stomach is too hard to be fazed by an elbow drop. He headbutts me, and then pretzel clinches me, not reverse.

.

.

.

I struggle, but then Coach Yoo-ji's words for 2 months ago come back in my head, "When pretzel clinched, the best thing to do is a reverse spider clinch, y'all aren't good enough for that yet, so instead here's the next best thing, the Reverse Heimlich Twist."

I do the motions she taught us that day, I wrap my legs around his already damaged left leg, and do a Heimlich maneuver looking grab, but with my arms going backwards.

I squeeze hard, and then try to break his leg with mine, he headbutts me again and gets out of it.

.

.

.

The fight continues on, 2 minutes til the first class bell rings, so we have about 6 minutes in total.

The slugfest continues with the constant punches and elbows and knees and kicks being flurried. I got so used to being hit by him at this point that it doesn't really hurt that much, and he's been fighting all his life.

We are both experienced in different things, he's used to throwing blows and I'm used to eating blows.

"ONE MINUTE TIL THE BELL! COME ON JUN, WIN SO I CAN DOUBLE MY MONEY!" Mr. Jeong bet on us, what the hell dude.

This is one of those things where it's an immovable object versus an unstoppable force.

My hits aren't extremely hard from what it seems, he hits like a truck, but after being hit by truck hands for so long, it no longer feels like a truck anymore.

I decided that this time's the best I could handle right now, he's bigger, he has more energy to expend than I do, that means right now, when he's tired is the best time for it.

I get some space.

.

.

.

I run up to him, and with all 230 pounds in my body, I knee him in the stomach extremely hard, reverse choke him, and powerbomb.

.

.

.

Splat!

The bell rings, 4 minute warning.

Jugyeong has boots with heels on, she took them off in her fight, she had the time to put em back on, she kicks Jun with all that force that could break bricks.

.

.

.

Right in the nuts.

{Teamwork makes the dream work, take this reward}

My stats go up like crazy. This was the largest gain I've ever had.

"How the hell..." Mr. Jeong said. Apparently from some kid, he lost a thousand bucks (a million won).

I check on Jun, I hate him, but I don't want anything too bad happen to him besides beating him up for the first time out of the 5 years I've known him, and 5 years he's beaten me up.

"Dang piggy, guess I can't call you that anymore. Frick, I knew you were learning Dae Zhae Kuaun, but I didn't know you LEARNED it if ya know what I mean. I still hate ya man but, I guess I'll call ya Hyun now. You earned my respect. Sheesh, we did a number on each other huh. I'll see you at Ferrari's today, maybe I'll give you a tip."

.

.

.

After Jun and I come back from the nurse, class starts and Mr. Jeong is absolutely pissed off at me for causing him to lose a thousand bucks.

Doja is pissed scowling at me, but Jun is all like "Take a load off, that was a one-time thing."

Whatever...

{Remember you need to get Dowoon on a date with Kiara~}

Aw hell, I forgot about that.
