Now Anna was in the room with a young man who had just woken up from his stupor. The girl didn't stop crying until finally, she saw Van who smiled at her so now they both looked at each other.
"Hi," said Van with a pale face. "How are you, Anna?"
Just hearing it, Anna couldn't stop crying, the girl continued to shed tears seeing someone in front of her who was still smiling even though he wasn't doing well.
"How can you still smile and ask how I'm doing when you're not fine? What's really on your mind, Van?"
Seeing the two eyeballs that continued to cry, Van took a deep breath, the young man immediately forced himself to get up from his bed and then wiped her tears with a gaze that was so deep.
"Because I'm fine, Anna. Don't worry too much about me, it's just a normal headache after all."
"W-what? The usual headache you say? Are you that stupid?!" said Anna with her head shaking as if she couldn't believe what someone in front of her had just said. Then the girl pointed in the direction where the two of their families were outside the room. "Now, have a look over there! There are a lot of people who are very, very worried about you, Van. How can you think this is just a normal headache? I don't understand you right now!"
Van knew that this was his fault, so the young man could only stare at his fiancé who was venting her anger out of concern for him. He chose not to speak until he felt that Anna had finished venting.
"Is there anything else you want to say?"
Meanwhile, Anna is currently only silent with gasping breaths so that Van who saw her smiled so sincerely looking at the person in front of her at this time.
"Why are you always like this, Van? Why?!" said the girl who was now crying again making a young man who was in front of her at this time immediately take Anna into his arms intending to calm the girl. "You always smile like everything is fine, I hate that!"
"Calm down, Anna. I'm here to take care of you, not you to take care of me."
Hearing this, Anna, who was in his arms, immediately pulled away from her fiancé, so Van who saw her immediately raised his eyebrows with a questioning look.
"The relationship is complementary, not just one. How can you think of guarding but not wanting to be guarded?"
"Anna, it's not like that, but as a man, I don't want you to be like this. Just because I don't remember the past, it not means I'm sick. Because I'm fine, Anna."
"If you're fine, then you won't feel any pain, Van. You need me much more than myself. I was worried about you, am I wrong?"
"No, Anna. Don't do it again, I don't want to look pitied, including you." Van turned his face the other way with a sad look, the young man took a deep breath and then said again, "Because it hurts. I'm fine, Anna. I don't want to look weak in the eyes of many people. Don't you understand that?!"
This was the first time Anna saw another Van figure, the girl was surprised to see it so now she walked backward with her head shaking, she looked at the person in front of her as if she couldn't believe what was happening right now.
"Van, is that you? I don't know you, you're so different from the Van I've known for a long time."
Meanwhile, the person in front of her sighed for a moment with his head lowered before finally looking up again at the person in front of him with a sad gaze.
"I'm sorry, Anna. I never meant to make you like this, but this is the truth, I don't like being pitied."
"You're evil, Van." After a while, Anna finally shed tears so that the person in front of her shook her head with both hands reaching for the girl. "You're mean! For the time being, don't find me!"
Anna rushed out of the room leaving Van who could only stay silent with a blank look. The man sighed for a moment before finally everyone started staring at him and the girl who had just left made him sad.
At the same time, there came a man who had just entered the room in a hurry. That person is Vin, he saw his brother who was bowing his head so that he who knew this took a breath before he decided to speak.
"Brother, what happened? Why did she leave crying?"
Meanwhile, in front of him at this time, Van just stood still with his head down and a blank look making Vin who saw it sigh.
"Brother ..." he continued again.
"Looks like ... I won't be able to continue this anymore," said the man who was now starting to turn his head towards someone who was still trying to digest his words and then said again, "I've apologized to Anna, but it seems she was surprised to see me angry. "
"What do you mean?" Vin asked with a furrowed brow. "What have you done to her?"
"So far I have never looked angry in front of her, maybe Anna was surprised to see that I was different, so she left."
Knowing this made Vin immediately pause with his heavy sigh before deciding to sit on the edge of the gurney while looking at the person in front of him this time.
"I see, but what do you mean by not being able to continue all this?"
At this moment Van's gaze was so deep on him that it made Vin, who knew about it, take a deep breath before finally touching the wrist of the person in front of him right now.
There seemed to be something stuck in the older brother's heart that made the man look uninspired. He knows that everything he has been through so far has made Van tired and sick because when his family tried to hide the truth that had happened a few years ago, the people who were out there made him have to go back to all the old memories that made him sad knowing this looked at him sadly.
Until finally after the silence had passed, Vin heard someone in front of him say something that made him very surprised.
"My relationship with Anna must end."
