Chapter 18 - ABOUT VAN AND ALDERA

Vin, who had accompanied his brother, finally decided to leave the room and meet their parents. The young man sighed for a moment before finally smiling when he saw his father and mother who were currently looking at him.

"Honey, how's your brother doing?" asked Andreas. "Is he okay?"

"Can we see him now?" said the Mother. "I'd like to see it up close."

Seeing the two of them like this made Vin not have the heart, to tell the truth, so now the young man immediately said, "You'd better go inside and meet my brother to answer your confusion."

Right after saying that, Andreas and his wife immediately entered the room leaving Vin who was currently looking at him from outside the window with a sad look. As a younger brother, he feels sad and worried because he doesn't know what happened, so Van says his relationship with Anna must end and that also makes him feel useless because he can't do anything to maintain his older brother's relationship.

From the start, Van, who always forced him to tell who the girl who always flashed in his mind was, made Vin's worries as a younger brother grow even bigger as if he already knew that all of this would indeed happen.

Something that the Van family had deliberately closed for a long time because they didn't want to make the pain lodged in the young man's heart. Although, actually the owner of his own body is trying to find out the truth, behind it Vin knows very well that he is only forcing himself by slowly hurting himself.

The deeper the curiosity, the deeper the pain Van will feel. And, this is something that is very avoided by Vin and his parents from the young man.

However, maybe the time has come.

Currently, Andreas and his wife are in the room. They saw Van lost in thought causing the two who knew about it to take a deep breath before one of them finally spoke.

"Van, how are you now?" the man asked. "Is it better?"

"I'm fine, Dad," Van replied still with a blank stare before finally turning to Andreas who was currently looking at him. "It's just that my head ..."

Van immediately took a deep breath and then lowered his head before finally shaking his head. He didn't know what to do at this point, he just realized that what he had done must have hurt Anna's feelings.

"Daddy, Mommy, I'm sorry. It seems I can no longer continue this relationship."

Hearing this, Andreas and the woman beside him couldn't help but be silent before they finally looked at each other as if thinking the same thing that was going through his head right now.

"Is that your wish?"

"Yeah, I just felt like I had to end it," Van said with a sad look on his face. "There's something I need to finish first."

"Van, what exactly happened?" Mother asked.

"If you ask that question, then I can't even answer it, because I don't know what happened to me. Lately, the image of a girl always flashes through my head, although I don't know for sure, I'm very sure that it's not Anna."

Of course, hearing that made Andreas and his wife surprised by a confession that had just been said by his son. They knew very well who the girl his son was talking about was.

Meanwhile outside, Vin just silently watched his parents talking to his brother. The young man looked sadly at Van who was so confused by what had happened that now the young man took a deep breath before finally sitting in the waiting chair with both hands covering his face.

"I have to find the girl," Vin muttered.

On the other hand, currently, Aldera is still in the canteen, after his conversation with Via made the young man feel confused about what to do so now he who knows this takes a breath before he wipes his face instantly.

Suddenly his phone vibrated, making Aldera who was daydreaming immediately take the thin object out of his pants pocket to make sure. His brow furrowed when he saw his best friend's name.

[Aldera, where are you?]

He quickly replied to the chat message from his best friend, because he had promised to meet again after the problem was over with Via. It wasn't long before the person in question arrived.

"It turns out that you are here, Aldera."

"Could you say hello to me first, San?" Aldera looked annoyed at the person in front of him at this time. "Just arrived already like that."

San who heard it was silent because he was confused about what happened to his friend before the young man finally understood and chose to keep his backpack and walked away to order food.

Meanwhile, Aldera was burying his face between the folds of his hands that were on the table. The young man was confused about a girl who had never been able to open his heart to him.

"Aldera, you better eat now, don't think too much about that girl."

San, who had just arrived, immediately gave a bowl to someone who was in front of him at this time. Then took a seat right in front of him and began to eat the snack voraciously.

However, seeing how his best friend looked gloomy made the young man shake his head.

"Aldera," San called.

"What?" Aldera replied lazily. "Don't ask me too many questions, I'm not in the mood right now."

"How long are you going to continue like this?"

"Until Via gave her heart to me."

Hearing the answer from someone who was in front of him at this time made Aldera shake his head.

"Your answer has always been the same since a few years ago, but you still can't get her."

"San, it's not as easy as you think."

"I know, but now you're not even trying to reassure her."

"It's not that I don't want to try, San."

"So what?"

Aldera, who had been bending his body for a while, now adjusted his sitting position so that it was now upright so the young man who knew it sighed.

"I have to go see my father."

"W-what?" San is shocked to hear that. "So you're going abroad? Hi, Aldera! If you go, who will I be with here? Would you have the heart to leave me?"

Seeing how his best friend's reaction made Aldera frown faintly because, in her opinion, San looked too much at him.

"What about Sharon?"

"Since leaving my place, I've had a very hard time exchanging messages with him. He seems to be avoiding me. Aldera, it seems we have the same fate."

"Why?"

San chuckled then folded his arms across his chest and said, "Tch, annoying. Don't pretend you don't understand, Aldera. Isn't your relationship with Van not good?"
