Chapter 9 - Chapter 9

In the darkness, something was moving at a quick speed, falling down, down, deeper and deeper. Jìang XiángShèn didn't even get the opportunity to even catch his breath, as the moment he fell in to the hole, he just kept moving, sliding down without stopping. Jìang XiángShèn didn't know where this hole came from. As a matter of fact, this hole wasn't supposed to be there in the first place. It wasn't apart of his plot setting in his novel, and he had no clue as to where this hole might be taking him.

A thought had flashed through his mind before, that maybe this world wanted to get rid of him, since his existence wasn't an aboriginal and was never suppose to be there in the first place. But that thought had flashed out of his head as quickly as it had flashed in. If he wasn't meant to be here, he wouldn't have transmigrated here to begin with.

'So then, what's the point of his existence?', Jìang XiángShèn thought to himself. He had never actually stopped to think about everything. The moment he had awoken in the forest and realized that he was in a strange place far from the norm of his own world, he never stopped to think about anything. Everything just felt surreal to him, like a dream, so he just went with the motion. His attitude was like it was just another normal day for him. He was around the only familiar person he knew, and he had instinctively focused on him. He never thought about ways to get back to his own world.

'Do I want to go back?', an image flashed through his mind and before he could grasp it, a bright light appeared signaling his destination.

He fell from the hole with a thud.

Jìang XiángShèn got up slowly, then looked around at the place where he was mysteriously kidnaped to, hoping to find a clue as to why. With this look, Jìang XiángShèn's eyes widened. The area where he was, was surrounded by a thin layer of mist, and was bright with a soft golden light. In front of him was a beautiful garden, filled with weird and unique flowers, with a translucent blue pond in the middle.

The garden had a light aroma of greenery and flowers, with a miniscule scent of medicine. Jìang XiángShèn could see various multitude of lights of different colours, mixing and merging together. All light and beautiful. Purples and pinks, blues, greens and such. Some bright and outstanding, some pale and dull, and others a mix.

Jìang XiángShèn looked at all of this, his brows furrowed. He guessed that he may have found an entrance to a garden where the Zǐhuā spiritual plant maybe located. 'But how do I find it?'.

Jìang XiángShèn looked around at this huge garden filled with all kinds of plants, and felt a headache. Even if he knew what the Zǐhuā spiritual plant looked like, it would take him days to search through this entire garden.

Jìang XiángShèn sighed and moved forward, looking at the different flowers as he passed by. After a while he stopped, staring at a purple-red flower that emits the same scent as a rose. The flower was very luscious and pretty, it's colour standing out amongst a cluster of yellow's and orange's, but the light that Jìang XiángShèn saw the flower giving off was a pale a grey, and it looked dangerous.

He began to question what kind of flower this could be, when the answer just appeared in his mind spontaneously.

{Name: Aldefa Lavender

Type: Spiritual Plant

Jìang XiángShèn froze in surprise, blinking rapidly.

'Huh? Was that...?'.

Jìang XiángShèn pondered on what just flowed through his mind, and decided to test it. He looked at the yellow flower with spots of green on it, and as he thought, he immediately knew what it was.

{Name: Fādāi Flores

Type: Spiritual Plant

Category: Healing

Description: A plant that renders it's users semi-conscious whilst healing light wounds. The yellow property limits consciousness; The green property heals.

Level: Low

Power: 45 }

Jìang XiángShèn was pleasantly surprised. With this ability, he would be able to know when he found the Zǐhuā spiritual plant. 'But how did get this ability?'.

Jìang XiángShèn thought of it and realised that this ability that he had, was similar to a writers perception of their book. Like a lightbulb went off in his head, Jìang XiángShèn figured it out.

Even though some parts of this world was different what he'd wrote in his novel, it seems as if what was this world's way of filling in the gaps. Also, as the author of his novel that is similar to this world, he has the ability to know about the spiritual plants he encounters.

'But does this ability only work on plants?', Jìang XiángShèn pondered, slowly walking distractedly. 'And about those different coloured light's, from what I can see, they seem to tell the type power that it's user has, whether they're powerful and if they're light or dark. Like the Horn-Tailed Scorpion and the Fādāi Flores. Which is very useful. But is it also my advantage as the author, or is it from the original body that I transmigrated into?'.

Whilst Jìang XiángShèn was still thinking, a bright light interrupted his inner dialogue and blocked his sight. After his eyes adjusted to the light, Jìang XiángShèn realised that when he was thinking, he had unknowingly walked to the middle of the garden, where the pond was located. And in the center of the pond, floating mysteriously, was a giant light purple flower that was lotus shaped, surrounding by dark purple aura.

Jìang XiángShèn widened his eyes in disbelief, staring at the huge flower, unable to believe what he is seeing.

"The Zǐhuā spiritual plant! I can't believe I found it!"
