Meredith's POV
It seems he enjoys teasing me, I couldn't say no to him and besides, I didn't want to be kept a secret. I didn't want our relationship to be hidden but I didn't want it to be a public affair either.
He held my hand the whole time while we drove to the office. Now the gossip must be spreading like wildfire in the company and Marisa and Purple didn't waste time making me feel so small but I promised myself I was going to be happy and enjoy today as if there was no tomorrow so I wouldn't let their opinion affect me.
As soon as I stepped into the office everyone was waiting for me and I couldn't believe they were doing nothing all this while when we had so much to do.
We have a presentation with the board just this noon and the fact that I wasn't answering their calls or text didn't mean they could relax.
"Thank goodness you are here Meredith," Michael said with a soft smile.
