She covered herself in a nightgown and headed for the door.
"Inspector Clinton,"
"Inspector Diadry,"
"Yes. How can I help you?" Angie asked.
"We're looking for one Carey Smith," Clinton said.
"Why is that so?" Angie asked. Her arms were folded over her chest, and she was trying to maintain a calm posture when in reality, she was dying inside.
"Does he stay with you? " Clinton asked.
"I don't understand where this is heading to. Why are you looking for him?" Angie insisted.
"Who are you? What's your relationship with him?" Clinton asked.
Diadry was walking around the house, looking for any sign that anything might be out of place.
"I can't tell you anything until I know what exactly you want with him," Angie said in an affirmative voice.
"Okay. Sounds like a deal, but this concerns him as it concerns his ex and her child," Clinton said.
