Frank's loud cries are what woke up his kidnapper. She cursed at him but still got up and walked to him.
'This is more than I bargained for,' the woman thought as she patted Frank. When he had kept quiet, she placed him back on the bed and went to check for something to feed him, but all the food she had brought was over. She hadn't estimated that she would have Frank for so long, but it was now almost impossible to have him out given the media coverage his absence had generated.
She turned to look at Frank, went into the bathroom, and after showering, dressed, locked up the room, and went to physically buy some food for Frank from the supermarket downtown.
She might have taken longer than she should have because when she got back to the compound of the hotel, there was a commotion and a big crowd of people.
