Chapter 105: like kissing my grandpa!
Asher sat on the floor. His demeanor still showed that he was trying to get over what he admitted to Logan.
He pushed himself closer to the nearest sofa, so he could lean his tired bruised body on it.
He stared out into an empty space and he didn't even blink until Logan pushed a glass of scotch into his hand.
"Take a sip and then talk to me" Logan joined him on the floor with a glass of her own. She was already regretting not bringing the whole bottle but that could be remedied if she chooses to.
"You got married" she murmured to him.
"Yes. Her name is Pepper. You would love her actually. She is just a meaner half Asian version of you, Logan. She's a gem…really" Asher smiled briefly before taking a sip of the drink in his hand "Too bad it's going to be over soon"
Logan turned to watch him for a while. "If she's anything like you just described then she won't let go without a fight"
