After spending an hour and a half in class, Eliza takes advantage of recess to relieve her bladder which is full to bursting. She could have asked permission to go to the bathroom from her teacher earlier, but today's lesson is so exciting that she didn't want to miss a beat. For that short time, she didn't think about Noah anymore and that made her feel good. After doing her business, the teenager washes her hands and, as she is in front of a mirror, she rinses her face and takes the opportunity to put some makeup on to look better. While powdering her face, the teenager hears the door open: Audrey, accompanied by Hayley, one of the five young ladies from the group of friends, burst in.
- Hold on, hold on, hold on! launches Audrey advancing towards Eliza. Look who's there!
Understanding that her rival won't hesitate to mess with her, especially since they're alone in the toilets, Eliza picks up her make-up bag and gets ready to leave without paying her any attention to prevent the situation from getting any worse. escalates, but Hayley blocks his way.
- Can you come forward please? the teenager asks her, trying to stay strong even though she is very worried. I would like to go out.
- Sorry honey, but you're not going anywhere until you listen to Audrey...
Eliza sighs, especially since it's the last thing she wants right now.
- What do you want from me Audrey?
- You know very well what I want, replies the young lady.
- I wouldn't have asked you if I had the answer. Please be direct as I am hungry and would like to go to lunch.
Eliza is annoyed. It saddens her that she can't be with Noah right now and having Audrey in front of her irritates her even more. Nevertheless, even if she is alone against two, she certainly has no intention of letting it go. As soon as she thinks about how she is going to go about putting them back in their place, Eliza notices that Hayley is sucking on a candy.
- Are you sucking candy in the toilet? him the brown-haired lady with a mocking smile. You know that's not very hygienic?
- I'm going to make you regret your remark, filthy plague.
- You come to piss me off and I'm the plague? Eliza asks Hayley at first before addressing the two. Do you really think you scare me?
- But you should... launches Audrey before approaching her rival to defy her with a look. You didn't take me seriously when I told you I'd take you away from Noah. Well, I'll make sure you understand it clearly now.
- "Please Lord, let someone come in so I can leave," hopes Eliza, starting to be afraid, even if she doesn't show it. You can't choose for me who I should go with or not anyway!
- You encroach on my land and it bothers me a lot.
- I'm not encroaching on your land! immediately rebounds the teenager.
- Yet it was you who warned me that you would fight for the love of Noah!
- "Why do I never shut my mouth when necessary?" asks the teenager, raising her eyes to the ceiling.
- Aren't you ashamed to steal someone else's guy? Hayley asks her before surprising her with a slap.
- Don't hit me! Eliza stops her, starting to get angry.
- Did she hurt you? Audrey has fun giving him a bigger slap than the previous one. What do you think of that one?
- "Oh damn, it hurts!"
Eliza rubs her cheek as her eyes fill with tears
- Have you lost your voice? laughs Audrey.
- To answer you for what? For you to hit me again?
At this question, Hayley pretends to hit Eliza again and she instinctively protects her face. At the sight of this scene, the friends cannot help but burst out laughing.
- And you pretend not to be afraid, laughs Audrey. Do you realize that your life will be like this every day? I'm going to make sure you go through real hell! Still, you could avoid it if you distanced yourself from Noah.
Audrey is aware of the argument between Noah and Eliza. Nevertheless, she decides to preach the false to find out if the latter really intends to no longer speak to her best friend.
- I don't see why I would give you this pleasure.
- You're irritating me on purpose, aren't you? gets angry Audrey.
- I just want you to understand that you don't scare me and that your attempts at intimidation won't work. Now let me out; you are wasting my time.
Eliza tries to get around Hayley to leave, but the latter violently pushes her away. Stopped in her tracks, the seventeen-year-old girl is propelled backwards before falling on her buttocks. She immediately feels a pain in her coccyx.
- You stay here! Audrey told him immediately.
Eliza writhes in pain, but she has no intention of letting her rival walk all over her.
- Why are you doing all this? Noah chose you! Besides, we had a fight and he doesn't want to hear from me anymore. He didn't tell you?
- I know about it, but I still want to make sure you don't cling to him anymore. I know he still cares about you.
- You can't make him forget me and you come to do it with me? And brutalizing me more? It's not my fault if he still cares about me, Audrey! I'm not going to change schools to please you either! However, it does not surprise me that he thinks of me more than you.
- What do you mean? Audrey takes it back.
- Nothing...
Eliza is happy that the pike had the desired effect, but she does her best not to show it to him, but she doesn't succeed.
- You take me for an idiot! includes Audrey, who gets angry.
- Why would I do that? I don't have to take you for an idiot... You are.
Not appreciating her rival's comment, Audrey gets angry and removes her water bottle from her bag. After opening it, she empties all the water on Eliza's jeans, who is still sitting on the ground, when she wasn't expecting it. The teenager gets up immediately and, by reflex, she removes her mobile phone from her pocket before realizing that it is completely soaked.
- But you're crazy! Eliza gets angry.
- You look like you peed on yourself, says Audrey before bursting out laughing.
- Make fun of me as much as you want, Audrey. Noah and I may have had a fight, but it's only a matter of time before we reconcile. You'll never be able to keep us away. You won a battle, but not the war, warns Eliza.
Audrey is bewildered. She was certain of succeeding in keeping her rival away from the man she loves, but this is obviously not the case. Getting even more angry, she gave him a series of violent kicks in the stomach and chest before watching her writhe in pain.
- If you talk about what happened to someone, I'll kill you, warns Audrey before leaving with her friend.
Eliza has never been beaten and, with the pain she is feeling right now, she would have preferred it never to be. Every breath she takes hurts her terribly and, to make matters worse, she can't get up. The minutes pass, but not the pain. Not wanting anyone to find her in this state, the teenager makes an effort to get up and, once there - not without difficulty - she takes her bag, as well as her mobile phone, and leaves the toilets. She walks slowly towards the first bench she finds and sits there hoping that her pains will fade as soon as possible, not being able to bear them anymore.
