Zach was only with them in the garden for a few minutes when his phone started ringing. He paused from pushing the tent swing and brought out his phone to check the caller ID.
A frown appeared on his face then.
"I'm sorry girls, I have to get this." He said and moved to kiss his daughters on their foreheads before turning to Cora
"I'll be in my study if you need me." He said to her before hurrying off with his phone already placed on his ear
Cora exhaled loudly after Zach left. For a moment when he bent to kiss the girls, she froze, thinking he would kiss her too. She was only able to breathe easily after his face was far away from her own.
She checked her wristwatch and saw it was past six.
"Wow, how time flies..." She said with surprise and got out of the tent.
"Time flies?" Isabella asked, looking at her mother with confusion in her eyes
