They were greeted at the village by a swarm of people, who had left their homes, despite it being the middle of the night, as the survivors from the mountain returned. The people announced their return with cheers of celebration and thanks, grateful that their loved ones were now safe.
As they got off of the carriage that they arrived on, the four were met by the old woman from before.
"Thank you!" the woman exclaimed. A wide smile was plastered onto her face, and joyful tears streamed down her face. "Thank you for saving our people!"
Looking around at the other villagers, the emotions displayed on the old woman's face were similarly displayed over the other faces that surrounded them. Behind the closest people, other villagers embraced friends and family that had been taken away.
"Is there anything we can give you to show you our thanks?" the woman asked eagerly.
"That's not needed," Roxy said. "We did it because it was our job."
