The journey to Garnell's headquarters took roughly half a day. Having travelled throughout the night for most of the journey with only the moonlight and sparse light granted by Marcus and Roxy's magic, the headquarters was a welcome sight to the four of them.
Shortly after leaving the village to travel to the headquarters, the fatigue of the events in the mountain appeared, having snuck up on them under the cover of an adrenaline filled surge of energy. Suddenly made weary by the consequences of the fight, the need to reach the headquarters became that much more urgent. After all, the creatures that were rumoured to call the night their home in the North were brutal, deadly predators that mercilessly killed innocents without prejudice or remorse.
Thinking of the danger brought Marcus's mind back to years ago, to the time he and Bran had decided to leave the confines of the Cranbrow Orphanage.
