Zero shook his head at her words. "I'm not going to waste my souls simply to 'show' you my ability." The women raised an eyebrow at Zero as he heard someone take a step towards him. "I don't care if you kill me for my souls. If you have no plan on using me and only want to kill me for my souls, then simply get it over with." Zero lifted his arms wide, in a welcoming manner. The women's eyes traveled to his fingers, which were still rotating around each other as he held them out.
The women motioned to Zero's left, were a man without a gun walked towards Zero before grasping his arm in his own. Zero felt his entire being tell him to kill the man, but he held it in. 'I have to kill something!' Zero saw a window appear as the man held onto his arm.
-Notice-
A Host would like to give you <200> souls. Would you like to take them?
(Yes) (No)
Zero clicked yes and watched as the souls traveled from the mans chest, through there arm and into Zero's. The man let go of Zero's arm before walking back to were he had been standing before. Zero looked at the women as she sat on the bone throne and watched him. "I need a target." The women's eyes squinted for a second before she once more nodded to a person behind Zero. After 20 seconds passed, a Goblin suddenly walked forward, its movements stiff and weird.
'Its eyes are dead, necromancy?' Zero looked at the women, who nodded at him. Zero then turned towards the Goblin and willed a whip to materialize out of his left ring finger before lashing it out at the Goblin, slicing it in two. Once he knew the Goblin was dead, he quickly willed the whip away, his finger having a bit over half of its channel left. Zero noticed everyone around him was at high alert and were aiming there weapons at him. A small frail looking man walked up to the woman's ear and whispered something into it before quickly walking away.
"Why didn't that use any souls to cast?" Zero leveled the woman with a dead stair for a long minute before speaking. "My finger breaks as well as the souls being used once I fully use the whip. I saved the last bit of whip, and there for I didn't use them." The girl slowly nodded before speaking again. "Use it until its broken then." Zero nodded before producing the whip from his left middle finger once more. Instead of using it however, he simply let it fall from his finger and sit there. It took the whip a full minute to simply sit idly before it started to vanish, his finger breaking in the process.
'Window, I offer 208 souls. Take them as an offering.' Zero didn't know if it would work, however the fact that the window had taken his earlier souls for information, he figured there was someone behind the window that was able to take bribes. To Zero's relief, a window appeared.
-Notice-
<208> souls have been given to the Window.
Zero looked at the women, finding the little man walking away from her and a smile on her face. "So a single whip costs 208 souls?" Zero did a nodding shrug. "More or less, depending if I use more fingers or not. The more finger's used, the stronger the whip, and the larger the cost."
The women slowly started nodding before sitting back down on her throne. "Very well. You are permitted to join us, however any acts of violence towards my group and you will find yourself dead, is that understood?" Zero nodded before being carted out of the room and down seven rooms, were he was placed with a large group of over 30 other people. Each of the people looked scared, but also calm, as if they had settled for this situation and were fine with it.
As Zero took five steps into the room, multiple faces looked towards him, and Zero instantly realized who they were. 'There students, or at least previous students.' Zero's eyes locked with a rather familiar face, 'Jackson.' Zero's high school bully's face started to morph into an odd looking smile. Zero knew that people would stick to 'Normal' things from there past to give them a sense of comfort, and it looked like Jackson had just found his connection to normal.
Jackson's eyes showed a promise that Zero simply ignored before sitting down. "H-Hey... aren't you from our school?" Zero looked over at a girl that was currently folded in on herself in the arm of a large jock looking man. Zero rolled his eyes at her words as he recognized her. 'Jessica. I've sat Infront of you in nearly every class.' With that thought, Zero ignored the girl, and simply sat back and closed his eyes.
Zero heard three scoffs before he was suddenly lifted by his hoodie. Zero opened his eyes, finding the jock that had been holding Jessica currently lifting him into the air by his hoodie, and Jackson, who was standing next to him with a large smile on his face. Zero kept his face neutral, however he was clenching his fists so hard there was blood from his nails. Zero turned to look at a man that had been watching from the doorway, his face showing he was amused.
"What is the punishment for fighting?" Jackson scoffed, and so did the jock. The man smiled at Zero before speaking. "We do not care about what happens in this room, but do not damage the building." Zero looked back at the two Infront of him, finding there faces' showing confusion. A devilish smile grew on Zero's lips, everyone that saw it flinching as the smile screamed 'Crazy'.
