Zero set the duffle bag down before picking up a chair and slamming it into the window. To Zero's surprise, the chair bounced back and slammed into him. Zero stumbled backwards before looking around, as if seeing if anyone saw. He quickly grabbed the chair once more and slammed it against the window. There was a slight crack that appeared, but otherwise nothing else. 'Why reinforce the windows on the first floor?! What's the point!'
Zero stepped back and aimed his left ring finger at the window before willing a beam to come out. Zero watched as a foot beam shot out, only to stop five feet away from him. To Zero's relief, he had been standing four feet away from the window, allowing the beam to bust through the glass. 'My arm hasn't overheated, if anything it got cooler since the last time I used it.' Zero put that to the back of his mind as he heard shouting from the front. 'Time to go.'
Zero broke the rest of the glass before looking down, finding the drop to be farther then he expected. Zero grabbed the duffle bag before crawling through the broken glass, and dropping off. Zero fell before he collided with the ground feet first. Zero let out a short scream before clenching his teeth as his right ankle took the fall onto itself before it snapped.
-Notice-
Host's body has sustained damage, would the Host like to use Souls to heal the damage?
(Yes) (No)
Zero saw the window through teary eyes, and quickly gave the window a command. 'Use souls to instantly heal my ankle. I approve the cost.'
-Notice-
<15> souls have been used to heal the Host's damaged body.
Zero sighed in relief as his whole right leg from the knew down became cool. Snapping out of his daze, Zero quickly looked around for anyone that had heard his scream. When he didn't find any evident witnesses, he tried to stand. Zero looked down in amazement to find his right ankle was already completely healed. He applied pressure to it, finding it was as though it didn't even happen.
Without wasting a second more, Zero grabbed the duffle bag from were he had dropped it, and quickly ran towards the car garage. Zero quickly placed the duffle bag onto of the belly button high wall dividing the alley and the car garage's ground level. With effort as his new gear was heavier then his current body could handle, Zero jumped over the wall. Once on the other side, he grabbed the duffle and started running away from the hospital.
Zero had been running for over fourth minutes, the run turning into a jog which turned into a brisk walk only 10 minutes in. Zero got an idea after nearly collapsing from overexertion thirty minutes into him fleeing. 'Window, can you heal my fatigue?'
-Notice-
<200> souls needed to recover the Hosts current physical exhaustion.
Zero rolled his eyes at the absurd cost and simply continued at a slower pace. After an hour had passed, he found a bus stop map of the city, finding he was across the city from his grandmothers apartment in every sense of the word. 'My school isn't even on this side of the city! Why in the world would I be brought to such a high end hospita...' The realization that he didn't grab any medical supplies dawned on him, adding onto everything else.
'There are obvious reasons to hoard souls, meaning I shouldn't use them for minuscule problems like an average cut.' Zero cursed himself as he ripped the map off the bus stops wall. Just as Zero was questioning if he would make it through this whole incident alive, he heard a grunt behind him. Zero froze as he realized he had been making to much noise, in a city over run by monsters. He slowly turned around, finding a bull standing in the middle of the street.
'A bull? Why would a bull be...' The bull's image rippled before it appeared directly Infront of Zero and charging at full speed. The bull slammed into Zero, his vision going blurry as he flew back through the air and into a shop window. Zero let out a groan as he looked up at a ceiling fan that was spinning. 'This place has electricity?' The thought popped into Zero's brain before he realized it wasn't the fan that was spinning, but his vision.
-Notice-
Host has suffered an injury to there brain as well as there skeletal structure and vital organs. Window suggests Host uses their souls to recover.
Zero commanded the window to use as many souls as needed to heal everything, and felt glad when his vision suddenly returned to normal and he felt as though he came out of a fog. 'Did I just see a Bull teleport?'
'Window, why does an animal have an ability?!'
-Notice-
The first Hosts appointed by the window were given abilities at random.
Zero realized what the window was saying as he made eye contact with the bull. "The bull is a Host."
