Kind's Pov.
When Kind opened his eyes, he saw a cake with cherry topping on it, birthday candles were burning and in the centre, his name was written on it. Chicken Drumsticks, grilled Chicken, salad, plain dal and rice were kept around the cake. One set of chairs was kept across the table facing each other.
His eyes widened, eyebrows were also raised and horizontal twinkles also appeared on his forehead. When Jun saw Kind who stood there with his jaw dropped at the sight of his birthday surprise. He then pushed Kind's lower jaw gently with his index finger. Kind turned his face and his eyes meet with Jun's
Oh my, Suddenly tears began to roll down from the birthday boy's eyes. He was smiling and tears were falling one by one on the floor at the same time. Jun had no idea why Kind was crying and smiling at the same t moment. He hurriedly held him from on shoulder and assisted Kind to sit on the chair close to him.
Then, Jun pulls the chair which was on the opposite edge of the table closer to him. He took out some tissue paper and wiped the tears.
"Kind, It's your birthday today. I am with you and your birthday cake is waiting eagerly to be cut by your hand." Jun said to cheer up Kind although he didn't know the reason behind Kind's tears.
" Quickly cut the cake the candle' is melting all g over the cake." As soon as he adjusted the chair in the position that it was kept before, he demanded while handing over a plastic knife to Kind
"Wait! Wait! Make a wish before blowing the candles" Jun reminded as Kind got ready to blow the candles.
Kind closed his eyes and made a birthday wish [ What should I wish for? [oh no] he thought as his left hand automatically came over his lips as soon as he recalled his birthday wish that he has mistakenly made several seconds ago
"Hey, what happened?" Jun asked when he saw Kind's action.
"Oh, that's nothing." He let out a laugh, but his flustered smile was wide and awkward. The exaggerated expression slowly slid off his face, as he fidgeted with the front of his shirt.
He then sliced the cake into a triangular shape and feed it to Jun
Jun didn't refuse and ate a little piece of the cake and placed the rest on the empty plate on the table. Then Jun sliced a piece of cake and extended the slice towards Kind in order to feed him. . As soon as he saw Kind eating the cake slice with an adorable smile, Jun's heart began to pound fast, he quickly smeared the white cream on the birthday boy's cheeks which he took from the cake.
"Hey!" Kind yelled with a wrinkled nose and raised his hands to wipe the cream from his cheeks.
"Hehehe" Jun brushed off Kind's tantrums as he served the grilled chicken on both plates. With Binita's help, he has arranged this little birthday party for Kind and allowed him to spend some time with Kind although Jun had to call multiple times to the cafe's owners for permission.
" why were you sad? Did anyone say anything bad to you?" He asked as he cut a small piece of Chicken with a knife.
"No, that's not it" Kind hesitated before speaking, but when he saw the care and worry in Jun's eyes, he couldn't hold himself from telling the truth.
"Well, you remembered my birthday even though we just met a few days ago. My family whom I have been living with for so many years, just forgot my birthday and-" He couldn't say more as he broke into sobs again.
Kind lowered his head and at the plate.
"Kind…"Jun uttered his name as he held the weeping boy's hand "They must have been busy with something. Also, parents s never forget their child's birthday"
"But.." Kind immediately turned on his phone and opened messages before showing the phone screen to the other, "look at this" Jun leaned forward to take a better look at the message. The ground under his feet fell apart as he went through conversions, there were messages like come home early you have some chores to do, clean the kitchen for me. I will be late today, can you cook for us, dear. And finally, when he saw the last message he dropped the fork onto the plate in shock.
He had no words to comfort Kind, whose Parents had been treating their own son as a servant. Jun couldn't help but feel angry towards Kind's Parents and feeling sorry for Kind.
"Kind, no matter what comes and goes I will be with you in every step, happy or sad," Jun said those words from the depth of his heart while gazing at Kind's eyes. On hearing those words, Kind's wounded heartfelt a sweet aroma heal. Jun then handed over a gift warped box to Kind.
"What is this ?" With a puzzled look on his face, Kind inquired.
"A gift for you." Jun smilingly added,
"No, I can't take this." Kind refused his gift and pushed the box back to Jun.
"Why?"
"You have already done so much for me."
"I have done nothing." Jun said while moving the box back to Kind "Accept This or I will get angry at you"
"Stubborn!" With no options left, Kind said while taking the little box.
"Don't open it here, Open it in your home." He requested as Kind was about to unwrap the gift.
"Okay"
After eating their food, Kind gathered his belongings and went to the cafe's frontside where Binta was busy cleaning the contour area. She is responsible for cleaning chores and closing the cafe as well as keeping an eye on staff who don't work during their schedule.
"Hey, done with your little birthday party?" Binita asked as Kind approached her.
"You should have joined us" Kind replied with a friendly smile
"Sorry, I had to finish my work first"
"Shouldn't the other staff be helping you?" Kind asked when he saw no one helping her.
"Yeah, But someone requested me to leave you guys alone. Because I am in charge of everything in the cafe, I couldn't leave without finishing the work. but I let the other staff go" Shifting her gaze to Jun who was busy doing something at the back
"Oh, he shouldn't have" Shifting his gaze to Jun and back to Bintina, Kind wondered
"Let me help you!" Kind tried to take the mop from Binita's hand.
"No, It's okay. I can Handle it" Binita moved the mop away from Kind's reach
"But it's already 10 and the route to your home wouldn't be safe if you stay late" Crossing his arms across his chest Kind stated and offered to help her with cleaning the cafe. "Let me help you! 2 is always better than 1"
"And 3 is better than 2 !" Jun who came from the back, corrected him.
"Okayyy" Binita finally agreed as she could not argue with them anymore. Three of them divided the whole work into three and within an hour they completed their respective works. Binita went into the changing room and returned with her uniform in a bag and carrying a helmet in the other hand.
"Let's go!" Jun said as Kind took the bouquet in one hand and the rest of his belongings in a bag. Binita Locked the entrance door of the cafe and walked down where Kind and Jun waited for her.
"See you tomorrow then" As soon as Binita wore her helmet, she said and started her motorbike. Both the boys gave a head-nod of goodbye as she rode her bike in the direction of her home.

"Bye then, walk home safely," Kind said as they reached his doorstep. . Jun walked along with him to his home.
"Be with you every time!" Jun said while waving his hand in the air with a smile but Kind gave a confused look instead.
"Full form of B.Y.E is Be with you every time," Jun murmured as he came close to Kind, touching Kind's nose with his nose. He took a few steps back, gave a smile to Kind and walked away from him in the direction of his home. Kind stood there with a question in mind[What was that?] rubbing the spot where the other men's nose had touched. He went inside his home. His home was completely in the dark until he turned on the lights. After doing his other work including homework he went to sleep. That day was quite painful yet surprising for Kind, he finally understood a fact about his family and learnt what his mistake was. Since he found his mistake he didn't want to repeat it again.
