The person from before arrives in front of Ryvern's house; still grabbing Ryvern by his back collar, and the still scared angel slung over her shoulder. They walk towards the house and pushes it open with their foot which awaken the silver haired boy.
"What the..." said Ryvern before he groans.
The person in red helmet puts Ryvern down on the floor to which he groans to once more.
"Ow..."
They then drop Rayzelle on one of the couch, before gesturing the 'I have my eyes on you' to her.
Ryvern sits up slowly as he rubs the nape of his neck; with a disturbed expression. He looks over the person in red helmet and sighs;
"How did you get here?"
"Our universes are about to end, and that's the first thing you ask me?" A voice of a woman rings out of the helmet as the monitor on it makes an angry face.
Ryvern cracks his neck as he gets up, "So which one are you; which 'Ryvern' I mean."
She appears by the refrigerator with a trail of red lightning behind her; grabbing a can of soft drink inside.
"Ryvern Claudius, call me Ver. I'm from Earth that has superpowers."
"Earth 12. I've been there. Is Blue Speedy still calling himself the fastest man alive?"
Ver takes off her helmet; revealing her white silky hair, blue eyes, and pinkish lips, shaking her heads afterwards.
"He passed away few years ago."
Ryvern nods once before asking her a question.
"So why are you here?"
"I came here because Ray Gibson told me to help you."
The mention of the name makes Ryvern immediately turns his head to Ver; who is drinking the soft drink.
"Brower? Then why is he not-"
"He lost his 'lightning'."
Ryvern softly sighs as his attention suddenly turns to the terrified angel, Rayzelle, who is cowering by the couch.
"Why are you here?"
"Oh I thought you two know each other."
Ver throws the can into a trash bin.
"We don't."
Ryvern shakes his head before turning to Ver.
"It's a good thing to have help but I don't know what you capable of, so I will be needing you to find some people."
Ver crosses her arms, looking intently at Ryvern; "Who?"
"6 people with different level of energy," he pauses as he looks at her helmet, "I'm sure you can detect them with your helmet."
Ver nods as she puts on her helmet back.
"Do I need to take them here?"
Ryvern shakes his head.
"Just find out who they are, and tell me if you can see the aura emitting from them."
"Got it, 'boss'."
With that, Ver sprints out of the house with trails of red lightning behind her, leaving Ryvern and Rayzelle in the house as the former looks at the broken lock on the door.
"Jesus Christ."
Ryvern then looks at the angel that is sitting on the couch. He proceeds to 'close' the front door before sitting at the opposite couch in front of Rayzelle.
"Who told you to kill Wilson?"
Rayzelle starts to back herself away from him.
"P-please don't k-kill me!" She pleaded to the only person she's with.
"Don't worry, I won't hurt you... yet. Unless you tell me who told you to kill the pervert." He crosses his arms, sighing deeply before asking, "was it Azazel?"
Rayzelle eyes widened and shakes her head, gesturing him the fact that it was not Azazel.
"Then who?"
"M-my superior, Galdriel..."
Ryvern nods and stands up. He walks away from her and reaches to a can of orange juice by the still opened fridge before closing it. He then walks back to her and handed the can. Rayzelle's face filled with confusion as she reaches the can. She takes it and he gestures her to drink it. She did so as he speak.
"I don't know who that that guy is, but let me ask you this, will you still follow his order or Azazel's?"
Rayzelle looks as if she is trying to gather her thoughts as Ryvern proceeds to stand by the window and leans on the wall. As the angel tries to open her mouth, the emergency sirens rings across the city and the two looks at one another as if trying to affirm what has happened.
Then, the ground starts to shake and Ryvern's face turns grim.
"Demons..."
...
Kujo City General Hospital...
In Ward 504, a patient; who looks no older than 20 years old, suddenly jolts from the bed and clenching his chest as soon as he sits up. He looks around him to find himself inside a room in a hospital. His gazes turn to the window of the ward.
He gets up from the hospital bed and stares through the window. Tears suddenly runs down his cheeks as he smiles, looking at the view of Kujo City.
"I'm finally back..."
The smiles on his face turns as the entire hospital building shakes. The patient was wondering what is going on until he sees a portal in the colour of black forms on the parking lot by his view.
His expression turns serious as metallic steel starts to cover his entire body and forms a full body armour. He looks to his right arm and stares at his middle finger.
"The other Artefacts must have been scattered to the Wielders."
He clenches his fist and turns back. The man notices a drip stand by the hospital bed, and grabs it.
"Won't beat an F2000 but this'll do."
His head suddenly covered by the steel as it forms a helmet and he proceeds to charge at the window, before realising he is 10 floors away from the ground beneath him.
The man curls himself and lands hard on the concrete ground beneath him, creating a tremor and causes dust to surround him.
...
Through the dark portal, come out multiple which resembles the darkness itself, in the form of wolves and another comes out in the form of a humanoid.
"Ah..."
It slowly moans as it's body covered in multiple lines of yellow before the head suddenly engulfs in yellow flame, similar to a certain flame human from a comic book that says; 'Flame on!'
"The Overworld; my birthplace."
The humanoid then forms a mouth which made out of flame, and grins.
"I'm home."
Suddenly, something hits the ground not far from where the portal is and the humanoid turns it's attention to it. There, it see covers of dust as a chilling, yet bright silver eyes forms somewhere within it.
"Sin."
The humanoid growls as it moves to dodge an incoming rock from the dust.
"You're not that mouthy bastard from before, but that still won't change my mind from killing you."
A man in steel armour comes out from the dust as it settles and twirls a steel drip stand.
"An armour..." muttered the flaming humanoid.
"What? You know who I am?"
"Ah yes, how could I've forgotten. You're 'Invidia'; the 'Sin of Envy'." it said as it grin afterwards.
"Good, then I don't need to introduce you to your personal Grim Reaper."
Invidia rushes to the flaming humanoid as the humanoid grins wider while the wolves in front of it charges at the man in steel armour.
...
Ryvern and Rayzelle gathers in front of his house and realise the bystanders and citizens are running away from a portal by the junctions near Ryvern's house.
Unlike the usual dungeon break or a standard form of a new dungeon that has a big blue line shooting upwards from the portal, the one that appeared is the same one that occurred by the hospital.
"You still an angel, no?" asked Ryvern to the still terrified angel.
"Y-yes."
"Then you know what to do," he said as blue lightning covers his entire body.
The angel slowly nods before asking him, "what about you?"
Ryvern taps her on the shoulder and gives the angel a surge of energy.
"I'll kill as many demons as I can."
The silver haired boy zooms away as dark creatures starts to appear from the portal, only to be instantly disintegrate into dust as trails of lightning penetrate each and every one of them.
Rayzelle; now seems to be 'charged' by Ryvern's lightning, flies up into the air and scans the area. She founds a group of kids running away from wolf demons as another group of women and children alike running away from a rather giant four legged demon that resembles a giant bear.
The angel tries to summons a light spear to kill the demons but multiple spears come out from her white feather wings as they immediately detach and act as a homing missile onto the demons, killing them instantly as soon as the spears hit them.
The rescued civilians all look up to the angel and give her their thanks. She nods and tries to fly to another area but stopped when she spotted Ryvern; who is slashing a humanoid demon with his bare hand.
"There weren't any records of a superhuman having the abilities to summons blue lightning and..."
Rayzelle remembered the 'demonised' Ryvern and shudders at the thought. She then continues to fly around and save as many people as she could.
Meanwhile, as Ryvern kills another demon that came out of the portal, three more comes out which he kills in an instant.
"Do I need to enter the portal to close it?"
...
"Do I need to enter the portal to close it?" I spoke my thoughts out loud.
"I don't think that's a good idea," said Lust as she flies around, being no help to me whatsoever.
As I punch a hole into a demon's chest, I immediately rush to the portal and stick a hand out; placing it on the portal.
"Screw it."
"Demitrius! NO!"
...
It was long ago, long before the existence of mankind, even before the time of the gods. I was here, on a beautiful creation of mine. A place which is void of all life but me.
"Young man, it is a wonderful world you have created."
I get up to see an old man wearing a white robe standing right beside him. Greeting and giving my thanks to him, I bow to the old man.
"I do not require your thanks, young man. This is all your doing."
I nod as the old man speaks;
"I'm afraid that this world will be inhabited by this universe's Gods."
Concerned, I look to the old man with a worried look.
"No worries, you will be tasked to defend this world from any of their injustice.
I nod as the old man starts to fade.
"Farewell, Demitrius. May your life be prosper."
I let out a small smile and open my mouth to speak.
"Farewell...Creator."
...
I opened my eyes and saw the light blue sky. I noticed I was laying on the ground. I wondered to myself on how I got here. Then I felt immerse pain somewhere in my stomach. I looked down and saw a lance that already has made its way through my stomach and probably into the ground behind me.
"Oh that," I muttered.
I looked up the lance and saw a flag on it.
'Halo with feathery wings. Guess they won, huh?' I guessed a riddle which I have knew the answer of before coughing out a little blood.
I stand up and looked around the whole situation I'm in. Bodies of angels and devils alike were lying on the ground. Some stacked on one another. I activated my third eye on my left eye. I clicked my tongue in annoyance as my wound healed itself.
"One thing I hate about wars between angels, fallen angels and devils; waste of souls."
Yes, everything that lives has souls and the three factions is no exception. However I did not see any human's souls around. I thought there would be some as they allied themselves with the angels.
"I've taken them already," a grumpy old man with short white hair in a complete funeral suit, next to me said.
"How about them, Grim?" I asked as I pointed on the bright white, bright yellow and dark red orbs hovering on the field filled with corpses.
"These are yours to take," he simply answered.
I was taken aback by his answer, "What?! I'm not any angels' or devils' personal reaper, let alone to be a reaper itself. Hell, I don't even know where the Yard is."
"This is your mess. If you would've stayed neutral, none of this would happen," he simply said before continue, "I know that you hold grudges on 'Him', but that's not what 'she' would've wanted. was it?"
I looked down upon remembering the memories of 'her'.
"How is she?"
Grim sighed as he took a step back.
"As long as this war is yet to end, there are no hope for those who died to be reborn. Their sanity perish, and what remained; a spirit."
I closed my eyes before opening them along with a face of determination.
"Do what you must then, Grim. I've lived long enough to know where this is going."
Grim nodded and put his palm on my back. I felt tons of pain going through my chest as streaks of white, yellow, red and orange colour going through my chest. I screamed in agony until it all ended; indicating that the souls are locked inside of my own soul.
It must be done.
The Yard has no room for greed and misguided souls. Heaven is busy on winning the war. Devils are busy on keeping up to their pride. The Yard is the only place to go for the souls. But I, the one being who were not created by 'Him', has to be their prison.
Pleads of helps and screams of suffering filled my minds. I care nothing of them and keep my sanity at its place.
"So what now-"
My eyes widened as I felt immense pain in my chest. I looked down and saw bloodied hand of an old man.
"Why...?"
Grim pulled back his arms and I slumped all fours on the ground.
"What Earth needs right now is not her guardian, but the balance in power by not having one."
I could feel my consciousness fading.
"'Earth'... don't screw with me...
Her name is Terra, and she's like a daughter to me."
