*Ding* [THIS CONCLUDES THE INITIAL TUTORIAL OF THE MOST IMPORTANT PARTS OF THE SYSTEM. THERE ARE MORE FUNCTIONS BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO FIND THOSE ON YOUR OWN.]
Alexander was extremely happy when he heard that there were more functions to the system even if he couldn't use them yet. This meant that the already good system might be better than he had seen so far.
*Groooowl* Alexander jumped up thinking he was going to be attacked by some wild animals. When he noticed that there were no creatures anywhere around him except for a few bugs and other crawlies. He immediately put up his guard thinking there might be monster capable of stealth magic in the vicinity.
*Groooowl* He heard the noise again and even managed to pinpoint the location. His stomach. 'Now that I think about it, I haven't eaten anything since I reincarnated. I should probably forage together some food.'
Just as he was stressing about where to find any food, he saw a delicious looking apple high up in the trees. Looking around he noticed that all around this tree all the fruits had been eaten by the birds except this type. 'Maybe the birds don't like the taste of that sort of fruit. It looks like an apple so it should be safe to eat right?'
Alexander walked up to the tree and tried to climb the tree. He clasped it with his little claws and awkwardly shimmied up the tree only to hear a cracking sound when he was about 1 meter above the ground. Trying to locate the sound he looked around franticly only to notice what it was a few seconds too late. The bark of the tree started breaking around his claws and before he could react, he was plummeting to the ground.
*Bam* Alexander landed hard on the floor with his elbow hitting a rock below him. As much as it hurt him his determination to get the apple was far higher. 'System show my status.' Alexander decided it would be best to see if his HP got lowered from this fall.

'So, it did take some of my HP. Hey system is there some way you can always show me my HP?'
*DING* [DOES USER WANT TO INITIALISE THE HUD?] 'Yes.' Alexander decided it would be best if he could easily keep an eye on his HP and MP for if he encountered a strong enemy right off the bat. On the bottom left of his peripheral vision two small bars showed up one green and the other blue. The green bar was on top and only partially filled it said 9/10. Whereas the blue bar said 0/0 and was filled to the brim.
Alexander tried to climb the tree again this time using a different approach. As he got to about 70cm above the ground he used his tail to wrap around the branches and pull himself up. After around 5 meters he got a pop-up from the system causing him to lose his balance on the small branch and plummet downwards. Luckily, he landed in a puddle of mud softening his blow to only lose 1 HP bringing him down to 8/10.
*DING* [USER HAS LEARNED THE SKILL AMATURE TREE CLIMBING]
Massive amounts of information about tree climbing started to fill his head causing him to have a small headache. 'So, I can get skills by repeating the same thing over and over again. That is good to know.' Alexander wanted to see if his stats had any changes now that he had a skill so he asked the system to show it again but there were no changes in his stats. The only difference between now and before he had the skill was the fact that his skills page had a single skill.
[Amature tree climbing Lv1] {Amature tree climbing fills the mind with some easy ways to climb trees so that the user doesn't fall off thanks to his horrible balance and training} 'Is this damn system seriously still personally attacking me! Hey system do all people of this world get skills this easily?' Alexander was seriously curious if all beings could get skills this easily because if it was then he would need to be extra careful of predators well versed in running and other things.
*DING * [ONLY PEOPLE WITH A SYSTEM CAN OBTAIN SKILLS. THE AMATURE TREE CLIMBING SKILL WILL GIVE 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE OF CLIMBING TREES FOR EVERY LEVEL] Alexander was very pleased to hear that as that meant that he still had a massive edge over his competition.
'Well, I should probably still get that apple now that the distractions are out of the way.' As Alexander walked up to the tree, he somehow knew exactly what to do to get up the tree safely. He expertly used his tail, claws and even mouth to quickly climb the tree and managed to get to the top of this 30m tree in just 3 minutes. As he reached the top, he quickly plucked the apple from the tree and climbed back down a couple branches to sit on a thick sturdy branch where he could enjoy a good dinner.
Getting all excited about eating the apple he immediately took a bite. His world started to blacken, and his body started convulsing. After an unknown amount of time, he started to regain his vision.
*DING* [USER HAS LEARNED THE SKILL PARALYSIS RESISTANCE] [Paralysis Resistance Lv1] {Gives resistance to paralysis, level of resistance based on the stat resistance and level of the skill}
'Can't I easily raise this skill level if I just bite this apple again? I can't believe I am actually doing this but there is nothing dangerous around me as I am quite high above the ground besides some birds who don't seem to care much about me, so I am not going to get a better chance than this.' Alexander carefully took another bite from the apple only to get a very numb mouth and a couple shocks throughout his body but nothing serious. As he slowly continued eating the apple it took more than an hour to eat this single apple.
Just on the last bite of the strangely sweet apple he managed to level up paralysis resistance once.
*DING* [PARALYSIS RESISTANCE LVL1>2] As He got this pop-up most of the numbness of his lips went away and managed to make him realize just how tired he was.
'I guess this is as safe a place as ever to sleep for tonight.' Alexander got into a comfortable position and went to sleep.
