Two weeks later
Vincent and Harley was standing on the border between Bludhaven and Gotham as they argued about how slow the plan was progressing and the whole process Harley was inpatient with the whole thing.
After the argument Harley left to Gotham as Vincent went back to bludhaven he walk to the marsh where birds flocked around him delivering a letter from Jesse letting him know that she used the concept design he left at her place and his suit was ready for him.
The name Remy Lebeau the "new man" of Harley Quinn was being whispered about in the corners of Bludhaven he was known as a hardcore gambler and thief, he has stolen from the big gangs in town and recruited some of the smaller ones and those who went against him was either in the hospital or in hiding.
He stood there in contemplation while holding the letter. Thinking about what he should do, for the past week he's woke up with Harley's arm across his chest. He's been having fun and Harley was a great partner in crime they haven't had a run in with nightwing thanks to the animals.
It was a great time but this lifestyle could only end up two ways dead or incarcerated and he wasn't being hunted anymore so he could go back to the NYC because the cops found a dead body of a person who looked like him and with his mask on the person body.
He sighed and shook his head and made up his mind it was time to give up the persona of Remy Lebeau, he and Harley were fuck buddies and friends, their friendship wasn't what ended but their partnership did. He wasn't really a big fan of having minions, he preferred to be solo his plans just changed back to the original version with the addition of looking into project xray.
The birds flew away as if spooked he watched them fly away as a shout came from behind him " Remy Lebeau! We've come to fuck you up!"
Vincent turned around and looked at a group of men with guns, knives, and an assortment of weapons.
Vincent glanced at each one of the as a small smirk came to his face " sorry to tell y'all but I prefer butterflies not worms"
He noticed the confused looks on their faces " let me put it simple I like pie not a fan of bananas, although I do have a giant banana" Vincent laughed directly at them once they figured out what he was talking about.
" not like I have a problem with what y'all like. I'm just not into it myself " he said while scratching his head and started walking forward, then stretching his arms out as a metal bo staff appeared. " alright let's get to it, I've got places to be and more important things going on " he said while twirling the staff around then when it was in one hand.
He turned and jumped of the dock. As a rain of bullets flooded the water.
10 hours later
Vincent stood in front of a man tied up and gagged.
" oh it's good you woke up, I was starting to worry" Vincent said as the man tried to speak but it was muffled
" yes, I know , but you see I'm alive and well, I like this outfit plus ya know I'm not bulletproof."
He laughed while walking towards the man " don't you worry I'm not mad or anything but after 10 or so hours of picking your guys off one by one I've had some time to think." His words interrupt by muffled yelling.
" hmm, what was that? Do worry you're in good hands, now where was I." He placed his hand as though he was thinking " ah, that's right, I have done alot of thinking and I have decided that you get to live."
The last part he said with excitement as he clapped his hands
Now he was right in front of the man staring in his eyes.
" I thought long and hard to come to this decision, you should be very happy " the whole time Vincent was smiling. " I like to learn with people,you see?"
He said as he stood in front of the man as his hand started glowing with the sound of static.
he placed his hand above the man's head as he let out a muffled screamed " you see I am currently drawing out the neurons with in your brain which as a result will cause a whole lot of fun things." as he said that the color of the glow changed from blue to green.
" now I'm transferring electricity to your brain causing it to be over loaded, you might be brain dead after I'm done but you will most definitely be alive." during this whole time the man was still screaming.
Vincent stopped and the man was drooling with a vacant look in his eyes.
Vincent untied the man and walked away without looking back, 'I could've used more advanced words but it's not like he'd understand, bastard wanted to kill me.' he thought while whistling with his hands behind his back.
March 10 early morning NYC

Waking up in Liberty Belle's base
Vincent shook his head thinking back to everything that's happened on his journey back to New York, he had many scuffles since he decided not to speed run back.
As he stood up the door was thrown open as Jesse ran into his arm in a panic.
She was talking fast so it came out jumbled. Vincent patted her back "calm down Jesse and speak slowly. "
Vincent said as Jesse nodded and moved back from the embrace her face pale until she looked at him her face turned bright red as she became flustered and turned around " c.can you put some clothes on"
she said as she quickly left out the room.
Due to his time with Harley he started sleeping naked and he wasn't expecting anyone to just bust in at this time in the morning.
Vincent got dressed as he thought about the look on her face he had a giant grin on his face.
After putting his clothes on he walked out the room into the main room and saw Jesse sitting down " so what have you in a panic?" Vincent asked as he approached Jesse looked at him but couldn't look him in the eyes she blanked at what Vincent said.
Vincent just looked at her wondering what was going through her mind , Jesse shook her head " what was that"she asked with an embarrased smile
" why were you freaking out?" Vincent asked again.
The color drained from her face " I came to you because my dad is at work, it's bad vin really bad , I can't.. my speed, I'm losing it, last night it was going out and this morning it's practically gone." Jesse replied with sadness,confusion and worry on her face and in her voice.
Vincent read the description to find out what was going on ' it can die' was the thought that flash through his mind as he had a thoughtful look on his face.
" worry not Jesse, I am here for you, we will figure it out and fix whatever is going on, until then take it easy and don't use your speed unless absolutely necessary." Vincent replied as he hugged her
" but the people" she started only to be cut off " don't worry about the people, I have got that covered, it's about time I try out my suit. You just help from the command center" Vincent stated with a kind smile.
As the alarm went off they took a look to see what was going on. " who in the hell robs a laboratory at this time in the morning?" Vincent asked generally shocked
" it's not just a robbery, there's a fire as well.. it's in the opposite direction" Jesse exclaimed.
"of course there is , shit their were two of you so it's not that suprising, but damnit, it's 8 in the morning isn't this a little ridiculous " Vincent muttered to himself.
As Jesse stood up to put her suit on " what are you doing?" Vincent asked
" I'll handle the fire, you take care of the robbers" Jesse replied while looking at him
Thoughts quickly flashed through Vincent's mind " your ablities are spotty at best , it's not that I don't have faith in you, but this isn't an emergency. I can handle this as long as the suit can hold up." Vincent stated and vanished in a blur from the spot not giving Jesse a chance to speak.
" vin can you hear me" Jesse voice came through the coms
" loud and clear where am I headed mon chéri " Vincent asked when he made it to
" which one are you going for?" Jesse asked staring at the screen
" fire first then I'll deal with the robbers after, " Vincent replied
" take a left in three blocks , what.. wait are you even on the streets?" She was flustered because his signal placed him in a building.
" why would I be on the streets to much traffic, I run the roof tops with super speed and swing to get to where I need to go." Vincent stated while in the air
" you're two blocks away." Jesse said with a little annoyance.
As soon as Vincent landed on the ground he saw flames coming from a medium sized building he took in the surrounding environment.
" why'd you stop, you have to get those people out" Jesse exclaimed
" I may have super speed but it's not exactly like your speed." he stated while planning, he turned to see a nearby by hydrant " I'm going to do something a little crazy hopefully everyone learns something. "
Vincent stated as he ran into the building while using his body as a magnet , the magnetic field generated by his body and the speed as which he ran back and forth while breaking walls caused the fire to be extinguished leaving behind a little smoke which blew away as he ran out the building.
" done how far to the lab."
Vincent asked as he was already running up a building nearby
" across town if you go a little faster you could probably make it in time." Jesse said and proceeded to give the address
Vincent could hear the underline tone in her voice.
Vincent decided to add his electric current to his run like he did when he left New York awhile back on top of repealing the earths magnetic field by doing so he moved a lot faster although in pain from internal electrical exposure but his internal resistance to electricity was close to mastery same with his resistance to pain. ( his speed in this state is like the flash when he first got his power)
Landing on top of the building as the robbers ran out he glanced at them and noticed they all had the same energy signal
" J.C. I think I'm might be up against a meta here" Vincent stated
" a meta in New York, its possible ever since vex posted that video we've been getting all sorts of types."Jesse replied
' oh it seems this is my fault, damnit I wasn't expecting to have to play hero I wanted to be a bounty hunter, make bank then retire and now look , I'm stuck dealing with this without pay , why must I be tormented so.' Vincent lamented not knowing if he should laugh or cry.
" Vin, can you tell what their ablities are " Jesse asked trying to think of a way to help, this is the first time she's felt so useless
" don't worry your pretty little head, I've got this."
Vincent stated as he thought back to his meeting with Cisco, Vincent practically memorized each card he's seen and at the moment he was trying to pinpoint the main body.
Jumping into the air and landing in front of the group " I think the weather said something about an electrical storm moving in, oh wait that was me" Vincent said to multiplex as he sent volts into the ground towards the group, as their bodies fell he heard tires screeching off as he gave chase appearing in and out of the driver's view.
" I found you" he said in a singsong voice with a laugh standing on the roof of the getaway vehicle
" what happens when a vehicle is overloaded with electricity? Shall we find out." Vincent stated as he chuckled
" Vin don't , if you do that"cutting Jesse short
" I know , I'll just drain it." Vincent said a little disappointed
After the car came to a stop the driver got out to run away but was met with a fist ,spinning Vincent hand touched the vehicle and sent an electric charge through it knocking out anyone else who happened to be in it.
Vincent heard sirens as he quickly sped away from the scene. Once back Jesse slapped him
" that was reckless you could've hurt someone or even yourself" she stated then pulled him into a hug " don't be so reckless next time promise me, I've never been so worried before." She added
Vincent was slightly confused by the slap and sudden embrace but he could feel her shaking and his heart grew soft " I'll do better the next time, don't worry." He whispered in her ear as he heard a ahem loudly, they both turned and saw Mr.Chambers standing there watching.
They left each others embrace
" you did good but you need more training." He stated as he patted Vincent shoulder.
