Chapter 02.
"Wah.. ahh.." Raj screamed.
"Stop, don't scream.. don't shout.." Radha laughed as he stretched his hands to pull him off the ground. Raj ducked, screamed louder and tried to shake away his hands.
Radha's aunt and uncle rushed into the room from outside. They shouted,"What happened?"
"Mom,Dad?" Raj shouted immediately after looking at them.
Radha quickly moved and covered Raj's mouth when he was distracted. He said to Raj in a gentle voice,"I am Radha, those two are my aunt and uncle. Stop shouting."
Raj widened his eyes and it took him a few seconds to calm down. Raj spoke after Radha removed his hands, "Are you an aborigine?"
"Yes. So calm down, I am not your brother's ghost. I won't do anything to you." Radha said to him.
"Okay." Raj nodded, then asked in anger,"Hey,Is it fun to scare me?" Why didn't you say you are aborigines before?"
"Radha, why do you have to scare him? Stop pranks in these situations." Radha's uncle said seriously.
"Sorry Uncle. I just wanted to see how he reacts when he sees his dead brother." Radha said with a little chuckle.
"Radha be serious. Look how he was scared. His face turned pale. You can't do these things again." Radha's aunt reprimanded lightly.
"Okay aunty. Sorry kid." Radha said.
"It's okay. Are your uncle and aunt aborigines too?" Raj asked him.
"Well we are aborigines." Radha said.
He then said, "We can't openly say in this world that we are aborigines."
"Why?" Raj asked him.
"Our situation here is more dangerous than in your world." Radha explained.
"Aren't aborigines rare? It's actually my first time seeing three aborigines together. Why would you guys be in danger?" Raj asked.
"We have a notorious reputation here. So we can't speak about our identities freely." Radha replied.
"Why? Even though the situation of aborigines in our territory wasn't good in these years, they aren't in a dangerous situation in my world. Why is it dangerous here?" Raj asked him.
Radha took a cold drink from the fridge and gave it to Raj. He replied, "Well to the people living in this world we are dangerous. They don't have the ability to deal with the aborigines, if we do anything wrong. Blessed and other groups of shapeshifters can be dealt with if they do any crimes or break the law. The people in this world can also take precautions against them. But us aborigines can escape from the law if we do any crime. So our existence isn't appreciated here. So they are more strict and cruel about aborigines in our world"
"How?" Raj asked.
".. It's time. Let's go." Radha said as he looked at the time and walked outside.
Raj asked," Hey, at least say what we are going to do from now on?" He threw the cold drink bottle into the dustbin and followed him.
"Now You should remember. 'Our family is moving to a new city'. It's that simple. You are an illegal immigrant from another dimension, so it's hard to make certificates for you out of nowhere. We need to update your certificates with your whole family after moving to the new city. This makes it easy for my team to make your identity authentic." Radha said as he took the passenger seat in a new car. When their car moved, the truck behind them started moving.
Radha turned his head and said to Raj, "When the officers check us, don't be too nervous."
"Why don't you place me in this city? You don't have to go through their checking then." Raj said to him.
"There will be an annual report about every individual. We can't take the risk about your certificates by completing them in one city. By moving to a new city and updating your fake identity we can make original certificates that can cover up the flaws in your identity." Radha said to him.
"Is it very strict about identity in this world? Then what about my family during every annual report? You can't morph into them everytime, can you?" Raj asked him.
"Your parents are going abroad for work. You will be living with caretakers. You don't have to worry about anything." Radha said to him.
"Then what about my brother? He is dead. How are you going to deal with that? " Raj asked.
"You don't have to trouble yourself with all those things. We are here to worry about them." Radha said.
"Okay. Then why are aborigines in a different situation here." Raj asked him.
"Well, how much do you know about aborigines? Do you know how aborigines morph?" Radha asked him.
"Aborigines are those that can morph into their own species. Other groups of shapeshifters can also morph into their own species but it's due to the power they get from the creatures they initially morphed into. But aborigines themselves have this power to morph into their own species. Aborigines can morph with the blood or other things belonging to the object they are going to morph into." Raj answered.
"Then do you know how any shape shifter can morph into other creatures without any restrictions on how much time they can morph?" Radha asked him.
"Organ transplantation. You replace or implant organs from other creatures into yourself." Raj answered.
"The history of aborigines in this world was filled with crimes. There was a time in this world when it was easier for us aborigines to get blood and organs. For blood we can get them from blood donation camps and centers. It wasn't too difficult to get organs if you have sources. For us aborigines who can morph into other humans this place is a paradise. Then there are some aborigines who misuses their power for their own gains. They are a bigger problem than the other groups of shapeshifters. It was basically impossible at that time to identify the true identity of aborigines when they committed crimes while morphing into others bodies." Radha said to him.
"Can't the other shapeshifters help in capturing those bad aborigines? Powerful shapeshifters can identify aborigines. It's easy for them." Raj asked him.
"Shapeshifters in our world aren't too powerful. We aren't even stronger than the powerful weapons made by ordinary humans. Even a kitchen knife can kill the top level shapeshifters here." Radha chuckled.
"Aren't the shapeshifters in this world too weak!" Raj exclaimed.
"So you can guess other groups of shapeshifters aren't powerful enough to identify aborigines. They can beat us in terms of strength. But it's near impossible to identify and catch us." Radha explained.
