"This ice cream is really good. That could be a tractor—factor!—too," Casey mused.
Vera laughed and took another bite before replying. "Oh yeah, definitely the best ice cream around here. Some people come solely for the reviews online. When you look up 'ice cream Seattle' it's in the top ten results.
"The fish and chips place is amazing too. I order from them a few times a week because they have a wide variety of things on their menu. I usually pack my own lunches but since I basically live in my workshop in the evenings I tend to stop in there after visiting my aunt before I get to work."
Maybe Casey would have to try it out sometime. He did enjoy fried food.
"Us small businesses have to help each other out," Vera continued. "It's probably pretty different from working in a big company, huh? I wouldn't know since I've only ever worked at the shop."
"Very. I don't even know most of my coworkers by name."
