"I promise I'll get you back," I whispered, running my hand over Sati's arm. "Leviathan's going to stay with you the whole time."
I wish Sati was awake, but she's still unconscious. At least I know why, but it makes it harder for me to tell her everything I want to say. It isn't just for her, either. Somehow, if I'm saying it to her, I'm also saying it to Nefra. Going into this without being able to face my mate and tell her I'll be alright... I'm not going to lose. It feels wrong. So, this is all I've got.
