I've lived for far too long.
There are many things I can't remember, the names of people I used to know and places I've conquered. However, there are things and moments I can never forget. Some are unforgettable because they're precious to me. Sadly, others are burned into my memory because of the pain they caused. There are things your soul refuses to erase because forgiveness isn't an option.
The goddesses in front of me caused so much pain toward the end of my life as Vanagandr to save themselves and because they were afraid. I could forgive their weakness but not their actions. Their involvement in the events that destroyed my family made them just as guilty as anyone else. However, Frigg was a different story. She'd actively worked to destroy us, and that meant she wasn't worthy of my forgiveness or mercy. I wouldn't let her stand before me if we were anywhere else.
Yet, I'm curious about why she's looking at me with such terror.
