Ivan's sweet but always so stubborn.
It makes it hard for him to move forward with simple things. It's tough for him when it comes to us. I know I'm the focus right now, but I also know that Kama, Nefra, and Kali are at the back of his mind. It sucks that someone finally explained what I am, and though I'm forever grateful that he's worried and cares, I just want him to go to his room and get a shower. Not only because I know what to expect from the third gate, but I need at least five minutes away from him.
That sounds terrible, and I won't deny it is, but I have to do this alone.
"Go," I insist, allowing Iggy to wrap around my arm. One of his abilities is that he can change sizes. He doesn't like doing it but will if I push him to. So, instead of being so big he could wrap around my body, he's only big enough to coil around my forearm. "I'm safe."
