"I didn't say you were lost. I'm just suggesting we shift and let Kali remember where the den was," Ivan sighed, trying to rephrase what he'd said for the fifth time.
"And I told you already, I don't need to shift," I gritted, continuing down the unmarked path. "It's this way. It's just not easy to get to."
We'd been arguing about this almost from the start. Ivan had to trust that I knew the roads well enough to guide us in the dark. Luckily, that part was easy since I learned how to get to Falcon. Getting to the den was a different matter. As I'd said, it was a complicated path, which was even more difficult in the middle of the night. However, I'd been here twice, so I had a better idea of maneuvering. However, it seemed that even with all the growth and bonding Ivan and I did, we were still going to argue over simple stupid shit like directions.
It didn't help that I got lost half an hour ago and didn't want to admit it.
