"So you brought this trouble to us?" The Alpha of a pack in Winchester got in my face, his eyes turning black as his wolf tried to take over. He was no older than nineteen. "Five of my wolves are still incapacitated. We don't have a packed hospital! We only have a nurse, not even a doctor, and just because you're from a big pack, you think you can use our city as a battlefield?"
"Back up, pup," With a growl, I push him back, unafraid of his temper. I understood his position and was willing to compensate for his pack, but not with an attitude. "I don't owe you or anyone else an explanation. I'm here as a courtesy, that's all."
"If you need a pack doctor, I can have one up here in an hour," Luke crossed his arms, scowling at the boy. "I've let every pack know that my doctor's training program is free for those who can't afford it."
"And we're supposed to accept your charity?" He turned on Luke, who didn't look phased. "Lower our pride?"
