He held her hand in a bid to calm her down; but all his proved futile. The beast in her had grown so hungry that it needed to replenish itself so bad. Elijah knew that Mia had little control over her body. He himself had gone through the same ordeal when he was first turned.
Elijah sat down and thought of things he could do to calm her down. Then the thought of how she enjoyed his singing crossed his mind.
"I might as well sing for her now", Elijah said. He sang the same song he had sung for her a couple of months earlier when she was with him in the forest.
The roaring and grunting gradually reduced. Elijah continued to sing all his favorite childhood songs till she turned back into the poor innocent Mia.
She was still looking pale; she had not gotten enough blood from her kill. She had withheld her thirst for blood for so long that she needed more than she ever got from Olivia.
