Chapter 57 - Chapter 57

Jaysa and Madison were sitting in the library reading some books they found to be interesting. The two females sat in comfortable chairs that were filled with cotton. It was nice to sit on the cushions instead of the hard wood. Only sound in the room was the girl's breathing or sounds of pages being turned in the books. Other than that, it was completely silent. Both enjoyed the silence. Sometimes Madison would laugh out loud which only made Jaysa look at her and smiled before turning back to her own book. A loud bang was heard making Jaysa and Madison jumped from fright. A pissed off King came storming into the room hollering at the woman.

"What is the meaning of this?" Danzel yelled. The man stormed over to the two women. They both looked at him wondering what he wanted. "Why did you lie to me?" Danzel yelled. Jaysa looked at him with a blank look on her face. She had no idea of what the man was talking about.

"I never lied about anything." She spoke.

"Don't play with me." He yelled. "There is someone that says different." Jaysa was completely boggled. She couldn't figure out what her husband was speaking of. He roughly grabbed her arm and pulled her out of her seat.

"What are you doing?" Jaysa cried out. "You're hurting me." Danzel ignored her cries as he pulled her all the way to the throne room. Madison followed closely. She had left her book behind, because she was scared of what might happen.

Once inside the throne room, Danzel pushed Jaysa in front of him, making the young teen almost loose her balance. She turned to look at her husband. "What is wrong with you?" She questioned again.

"You lied to me?" Danzel hissed at Jaysa.

"I'm telling you I don't understand." Jaysa looked at her husband. He's gone mad. She thought.

"Jaysa." An unfamiliar male voice spoke out her name. "Jaysa, is that really you?" Jaysa turned to see a man standing behind her. He had dark brown hair that was covered in dirt and weeds. His face and arms also carried the same fate. His clothes were ripped in several different places and patterns from different outfits were sown to keep the material together. Jaysa could tell by looking at him that he was nothing but a mere peasant.

"I… I don't –" Jaysa began.

"It's me, Horis." The man spoke. Jaysa looked at the man. She had never seen him before.

"Who are you?" She spoke again.

"Don't be stupid." Danzel yelled. "He's your boyfriend and your two-year-old boy Bryson." Jaysa turned around to look at her husband.

"I've never seen them before." Jaysa spoke again. "You've got to believe me."

"Don't listen to her. You know she lies." Martin walked into the room. "Can she prove that she did not have him as a boyfriend, or if she had not given birth to that child." Martin walked up to his nephew and spoke close to her ear. "I told you women lie."

"I do not lie." Jaysa yelled back.

"If you do not lie, then why have you not laid with his highness? Could it be that because you have something to hide?" Martin spoke as he touched his chin and looked at his nephew. "Like I don't know," he turned his face to look at Jaysa as he spoke loudly. "Maybe not being a virgin." He turned his head back towards his nephew. "If I was not a virgin and married the Prince. I would also try to hide that fact as well." Jaysa's head was shaking as her hands were in a tight fist.

"No, no, no," she repeated quietly while Martin went on.

"To make it worse, you even had a kid. What shame." Martin spoke.

"I can't believe you." Danzel spoke with anger. He told himself that he would forgive her if she was not a virgin because he really wanted her. However, reality was worse than he thought. The man in front of his was flaunting the fact that he was her first, and had her child, boiled Danzel's blood.

"I told you it's not true." She yelled out tears streaming down her face.

"I believe those words you spoke, but they were all lies. You didn't want me to know the truth." Danzel spoke. Anger and pain lingered in his voice, but he tried his best to control it.

"Danzel please –" Jaysa cried out.

"Don't call me by my name. You're nothing but a whore. You betrayed me." He yelled out.

"No, I didn't." She cried out. "Why do you not believe me?"

"I don't believe what women say. Only thing that comes out of that flap of yours is nothing but lies." Danzel growled out. "This is why women should not have a voice." He spoke in a low tone.

"Please I beg of you." Jaysa tried again.

"Do not speak to me anymore." Danzel turned his head. "Guards," he yelled out. Two men ran over to his Majesty awaiting their next command. "Take her to the cells." They nodded and headed towards Jaysa grabbing her roughly.

"Please don't!" she cried out as the men dragged her away. Martin smirked to himself.

"Your Majesty, what would you do to her?" Horis asked concerned. Danzel looked at the man disgusted. This man had touched her, made love to her, had a child with her, everything that he wanted. He couldn't stand to look at the man. Before he turned to walk out of the room he spoke in a low ice cold tone.

"Death." Danzel walked out of the room and ran into Madison that was listening on the other side of the door. Danzel just glared at her. Tears were in her eyes because she watched as Jaysa was being dragged away. Danzel did not say a word. He just walked off. Madison was about to leave as well when she heard male voices. That's when she realized that the door to the throne room was not shut all the way. Madison peeked inside. She saw Martin and the man that claimed himself to be Horis. They smirked at each other.
