Celestia
I struggled out of bed and made my way down the hall to the door.
"Ramon? Is everything okay? I-oh."
I look at who is at the door and there are two women with suitcases in their hands. One of them I remember from the pictures. If she's his step-sister then the other lady must be his mother.
"Ah, another unexpected thing, when did you get a dog? And Oh! You must be Celestia. Such a beautiful daughter-in-law, my, my you're ready to pop!"
"Mother," Ramon whispers.
"Oh, quit being so sensitive, you haven't even called your mom in ages," she says as she steps in with her daughter in tow.
"I called you months ago when I was in Paris," he mutters.
"Still ages ago. Celestia dear, it's so lovely to finally meet you, it's upsetting how I heard about you at first from newspapers than from Ramon himself. Do you know the gender?" she asks after she hugs me.
"It's a girl," I say as I look down.
"Ah, wonderful! Come we have so much to talk about. First, come meet my daughter Lilly."
She gestures for Lilly to come our way and she smiles and waves as she walks over. Ramon comes around and places his chin on my right shoulder. Peach peaks over from his arms and then leaps out of them, going directly to sniff Lilly's shoes.
"Mother, how long do you plan on staying?" asks Ramon as his head nods to the suitcases.
"Not that long, about a week or two. I just wanted to see how you've been holding up. Lilly missed you too. Isn't that right Lilly?"
"Yeah, big bro, I really missed you," she responds mockingly.
"I really missed you," Ramon mocks back, and I laugh at their conversation.
"Don't mind them they've been like this since they were children." his mom dismisses.
She takes my hand and takes me away from Ramon, heading for the living room. It takes me a minute to fully sit down and she sits next to me.
"Oh! How rude of me, call me Clarissa or mom. Whichever you prefer."
"Alright," I smile.
I'm being shifted up as Ramon sits behind me, laying me back on his chest and placing his arms over mine as he rubs his thumbs against the top of my hands.
"I can tell that Ramon here is head over heels for you. I haven't seen him show this much affection since his first childhood teddy bear."
"Well the same goes for me," I say as I look up at him with a smile.
He looks down and gives me a quick kiss on my forehead before I look back up.
"Y'all are too cute, have you picked out names for the girl yet?" Clarissa asks.
"We've only started thinking about it today actually."
"What were you thinking of?"
"Well, so far we have Evangeline, Aurelia, Calliope, or Anaisa.
"Those names are so precious! I absolutely love them all."
"Thank you!" I say.

Clarissa and Lilly took me out shopping for baby clothes and they helped me buy things to put in my bag to bring to the hospital.
"Celestia look at this one!" says Lilly.
I turn to her to see her holding up a fluffy white polar bear onesie. My heart melted as I imagined my little girl in it.
"Oh that is so cute," I sigh. "Maybe I should buy it later though since it's about to be summer, we've got a long way till it gets cold."
"You're right," she replies as she puts it back. "Ooh, we need to find something for her to wear for when she's born."
"Yes, let's look for something pink and white, something pale probably."
"I'll go look over in that section," she says and rushes over to where she pointed.
Clarissa comes up next to me and sighs.
"You know, she's so excited for this baby just as Ramon is. Lilly can't have children."
"Really?" I say looking back at her.
"Yeah, she loves kids, always babysitting and going anywhere they would be just to play with them. It's sad that she can't have her own."
"Does she want to adopt?"
"Yes, she plans on it. Though she isn't sure whether she wants to get married first before she adopts or be a single mother. But she's only twenty-three so she has time.
"Oh, she's the same age as I am."
"Yeah, I did notice that you're so young, you're practically finished with college, getting married, and have a baby on the way. You have your life together. Not many people have that." she smiles.
"I never thought that I'd even be like this so quickly. After my first boyfriend, I simply planned on getting my degree and moving on with my life. I told myself that love would come later. And I guess it's true. Love comes when you least expect it. And it definitely works in annoying ways." I lightly laugh.
"How so?"
"I remember when Ramon first made advances on me. He followed me everywhere and nearly went down on his knees just to spend time with me. I was too focused on the rest of my life. When I told him yes-" I blush as I remember the first week we had together.
When I told him yes, I quickly realized that he was serious and I took a chance. And I'm glad I did."
"Mhm, I see," she responds with her eyebrows lifted.
"I found something!" says Lilly as she comes back with two onesies. One was pink, grey, and white. The other was pink and white.
"I really like this one!" I state, taking the first one from her.
"That one's nice," Clarissa replies. "It's simple but really cute."
"I'll take the other one as well, a girl can never have enough clothes," I laugh.
"True that," Lilly chuckles. "Alright, we should probably head out before we buy the entire store," she says, nodding her head towards the full shopping cart.
I shrug, smiling, but push the cart towards the register at the front.
When I finished paying, we went to order Chinese food to go. Once we got our food we grabbed my bags, walked back to the car, and went home.

Ramon holds me close as we continued to watch the interrupted movie. It was currently eleven forty-two pm.
"It's getting late, you should go to sleep baby," whispers Ramon after I yawn for the third time.
"No, the movie's almost over, I wanna see the wedding," I say, stifling through another yawn.
"Haven't you seen this many times before?" he chuckles.
"Yes, but I still love to see it,"
"I can't wait to see ours,"
I smile, closing my eyes. "Mmm yes, I cannot wait to be called your wife," I mutter.
"Go to sleep my love, you can barely keep your eyes open."
"Do I have to?"
"Yes, if you do, I promise we'll look at wedding stuff tomorrow, does that sound good?"
"That sounds great. Promise you won't get bored? I know some men don't like to plan these kinds of stuff."
"How could I ever be bored? Planning our wedding sounds like the best idea on earth, I can't wait to see what dress you wear when you walk down that aisle, surrounded by thousands of your favorite flowers."
"Mmm red roses,"
"Yes, red roses. Goodnight my Queen, I love you."
"I love you more my King."

Ramon
As she drifted off to sleep, I pull the covers over her and kiss the crown of her head. Love me more? All the love for her inside of me for this woman is indescribable and infinite. Everything I have ever wanted is in her. It is her. And only her. To see her smile, to hear her laugh, to wake up to that beautiful woman every morning is the reason why my heart beats.
"I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you, Celestia."
